This is not a deadlift hate thread.
Wondering why so many brahs who can lift a sht ton of weight off the ground still look like pussies?
Take Maxx Chewning for example he can deadlift 560lbs and squat like 500 (natty srs) yet he looks like a bich lol. 12 yr old girls with more quad musculature than him.
Is this just very poor genetics for muscle building? I mean even if he doesn't eat enough he should have some decent muscle to go with tht strength. Yes I know strength doesn't equal size but come on...

Because it's about strength, not what they look like.

Strength gains can be had without any structural changes but not without neural adaptations, obviously structural adaptations occur in pretty much all cases but there must be increases in neural efficiency to get stronger first and foremost, newbie gains are a good example of this. Hence we get incredibly strong individuals that don't look like they lift due to lack of structural adaptation.

Stength =/= Size, especially at lower bodyweights where calories are controlled. Its all about neuromuscular efficiency, not size.
Also look at the main deadlift muscles. Those would be hams, glutes and errectors. None of these muscle tend to get really huge and certainly dont mae people look like they lift.Signatures are for *******s!

the amount of people who look like they lift who do deadlifts regularly is like 1 in 10. Most of them look like new gym goers and are probably deadlifting so they feel accomplished by lifting a heavy load. They probably read somewhere that deadlifts build the whole body and have a mindset that if they do deadlifts they can skip on other isolation exercise.
