Never bought into the bitcoin hype but more power to you if you do. Seems like a real volatile investment.

11-20-2013, 01:01 PM #513Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world theyve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. Its an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. Its a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

if you are just trying to help misc brahs out, fair play, but if you have this stock and just want to pump it for personal gain, perhaps find another thread? You recommended it at 0.2, it went up then came down to 0.3, doubt anyone made a dollar after trading costs unless they happened to know .12 was the top. Tips really mean nothing unless you say along the lines of:
"this is a buy at this price(x) right now. In 2 months I see it being (y) at which time its a sell"
and this is still a bitcoin thread not a thread on marginally related stocks..

anyway, on another note
one thing slightly, slightly bothers me that I can't find an answer to.
I understand lite coins aren't limited in the same way, but what is stopping anyone coming up with bitcoin '2', same model but slightly different algorithim? And then bitcoins 3,4,5 etc? There is obviously an answer to this but I can't find it

There are already dozens of "alt coins" based around bitcoin, none of which have taken off properly yet. Here's a list:

I used coinbase for a little while, but the bank account I opened for it got closed shortly after I sold my first coins and withdrew the cash at the bank... that was probably 6 months or more ago now so I don't think thats happening as often but banks were closing alot of counts for btc transactions for a while. Since then I've mostly used localbitcoins but I would reccomend setting up an acct at an exchange site at least so you have it ready if you need it. You will usually pay a bit of a premium on localbtc but there's no setup and you can pay in anonymous cash methods like moneypak/vanilla reload cards etc. Or you can meet someone in public and pay them cash. Otherwise coinbase is pretty popular or I think some people use bitfloor etc. There are a number of them, google and find one that has the lowest fees or instant transfers or whatever it is you want the most in an exchange service and one that has a good reputation

nobody has made money because the stock he just brought up hasn't moved yet
but the other one that he did, moved and earned me about 70%.
it's pretty clear that you have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
you think that because a stock is worth pennies that it won't earn you money.
but that chit going from .2cents to .3cents is the same as a bit coin going from 600 dollars to 900 dollars......
and trading costs??? lol just lol, it ends up being the same whether you buy a stock at pennies, or a google stock at thousands, just depends on the volume.

age :19
people have been doing EXACTLY what he is doing since the dawn of the stock market. Talking UP a stock he has invested in, everywhere, on every website and dumping it when he makes some profit.
3 examples off the top of my head
a trader faking a takeover document for a stock and leaving it in a city café
Daily Mirror feature writers a few years ago ('the city slickers') pumping stocks they owned in their own newspaper
a comedy show in which two actors started talking VERY loudly in a city pub moaning about not being able to get into a stock xyz as they were from the same firm broking firm, stock went up 20% in 2 hours
You are utterly naïve if you can't see this/didn't know how it works. City is all rumour and double dealing, always has been, always will be
and just lol at your poverty negs

it's better to know about stocks that are getting pumped/dumped, as long as you don't get sucked into the hype and hold it until the price people say it'll get to.
you can get in and get out quickly during the pump phase so i'm not sure why this matters.
but please keep telling me how a pump and dump works. oh and keep telling me in percentages, when you clearly don't know how they work lmao.
brb no moneys to be gained if a stock goes from .2c to .3c
oh wait thats actually a 500 dollar profit from a 1k investment

do me a favour and stop acting like you are trying to tell me how the stock market works, you aren't and you are coming across as incredibly stupid srs
He is giving you cheap sales sh&t the same as any other industry, one profitable stock means nothing, that's pure luck, beat the market for 10 or 15 years I might listen
and it matters because this WAS a thread about bitcoin and you and him have killed it. Thanks.

telling me im coming across as stupid and you can't spell "favor" correctly, ok.
it's a penny stock, no chit it'll be volatile, nobody said it was going to end up being the phukin next apple or anything.
it was a stock related to bitcoins, so it had to do with the topic.
maybe it was out of your interest, but you don't have to read that chit, but somebody else might find it interesting and no need to call him out.
and you clearly don't know how the stock market works, if you thought that going from .2c to .3c means no gains, lmfao.
*******.
