how low are you guys expecting it to crash if it gets to 1k?
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

DO NOT SELL ALL OF THEM, HOLLY ****.
Keep a good chunk if you can! These things are going to blow up in value especially in the next week after the USA seriously reacts to the senate hearings today. China is still doing an absurd amount of coke and driving the market price insane, and other markets like Europe and India haven't even started yet. The selloff today was a minor correction, this will end up in the thousands in USD by Thanksgiving.
I know I'm just a random internet guy, but mark my words, if you sell them now at $700, you'll regret it later this month. If you've read any of the recent news you'll realize this thing is only just starting to blow up. It typically takes 3-5 days for it to react in the market price because of the delays of getting money into the exchanges...

If any of you think bitcoins have gotten too high and want to invest in a publicly traded stock that deals with Bitcoins as a way to play this massive move up, look at ELRA. It is really the only publicly traded stock that I know of that deals with this. THey are in the process of creating an online bitcoin casino and exchange. Stock is only at 7 cents with an outstanding share count of 29 M, and it shows being above a dollar last year. So with the coming frenzy that we are about to see in Bitcoins, I can see ELRA reaching those highs again.

If you're going to make up a new currency based on math, you can do this a million different ways. There's a lot of different mathematic solutions that offer the same "finite" output that could support a currency. why is the bitcoin method and it's specific math special?
Bitcoin is a scam. and it's a huge bubble right now."Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." - Psalm 23

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

Yeah, I have to agree. This totally reminds me of the dotcom bubble that burst on March 10th 2000. Now how do you suppose I remember that date so well?
And to those people who think snapping up bitcoins after the bubble pops, this chart of said dotcom bubble (which is literally a textbook example of a bubble) shows why that isn't a good idea:
The long term trend always reasserts itself. On AllPro's Beginner Routine (C4W1) - I don't lift much, but I do lift...
Squat - 125# / Bench Press - 120# / Bent-Over Rows - 110# / Overhead Press - 75#
Stiff-Legged Deadlift - 135# / Curls - 50# / Calf-Raises - 155#
they aint bout that life jerrel
they run they play too much

why should it be a bubble
why does it have to be a bubble
if the finacial world would be mathematical accurate or predictable, mathematicians would be rich
u cannot predict it
just probabilitys over propabilitys
it could rise to 10k worth for 1 bitcoin
u eat my poo theninb4 do u even english
*neba forget*
