Thanks, yeah I'm focusing on hitting enough protein daily but I think I'm not hitting the calorie mark. I'm trying for 6 meals a day.

I'm lifting 3 days a week and 3 days cardio. Cardio is 1 hour each session on a bike...medium intensity. Is that too much cardio to gain muscle?

It also depends what you eat, eat clean it will help you keep down the cals and keeps your body more active.
Personally I feel a bigger amount of energy, The few times I've been eating dirty for more than 3 days I've felt a drop of energy

In my opinion if you want to bulk you should stay away from the cardio, unless you are doing it for a sport or something, cardio expends energy thus burning ur calories and making it harder to achieve a surplus, also u said ur eating 6 meals, are u aware that number/timing of meals is irrelevant, you need to get the calories in or you won't build muscle full stop

Dont listen to this guy. Cardio is amazing. Keep doing it. He is correct that it makes reaching surplus harder, but with precise calculation It'll be a piece of cake.
ALL NATURAL. Just whey and sleep.

    Considering Creatine.

I agree, cardio and numbers of meals doesn't matter. But I would personally start eating a lot of salad and greens.
You should be able to drop fat by eating healthy and working intense, I've always been skinny though so I don't have much insight in fat loss

You can't say don't listen to this guy and then say "he is correct"

Like I said it was my opinion, most people stay away from cardio when bulking unless the need cardio for a sport they play etc.

    Thanks for the advice, everyone.

I come from a running background and I'm trying to bulk, so maybe I should cut down the cardio to maybe 30-45 minutes each session, 3 times a week? I will also try to eat more.

Yeah I'm not saying you can't do cardio, you can do cardio and day as long as you eat more to compensate the expended calories

Tip, listen to the green guys not the red guys (in general)

After looking at my pics again, it does look like I trimmed a little fat and gained not so much muscle. I will do less cardio and eat a lot more. Thanks for the tips everyone!

Im trying to put on weight my self, and my experience is that you can do cardio if you like, but it will make you weight gain slow down(this is pretty obvious i know.)
But well if you enjoy doing cardio, keep on doing it fore sure Just remmember to keep up your food intake just like Thepayne says.

You told him that you dont think he should be doing cardio, thats where I disagreed. The world isnt black and white, I can disagree with a segment in a comment and still not disagree with the whole thing. Ignorance is bliss.

Yeah, you need a lot more carbs if you want to grow. And 6 meals isn't really necessary.

Try incorporating more rice, pasta and meat. all of your carbs are coming from bread and milk, and your protein from milk / pb and a little bit of chicken.

But the most important thing is to make sure you are eating enough food, and hitting enough protein. Just don't neglect carbs, because an insulin response is necessary for growth.

Perc, are you new to lifting? I think you're in the perfect position to do a slow bulk (around a 200 calorie surplus from maintenance). Make sure your lifts are going up every so often as well (Progressive Overload). You don't want your body to become stagnant as far as growth.
    Hey, you guise.

Yeah I'm from a running background so I'm pretty new to lifting and trying to gain muscle. I do increase the weight when I can, and make sure I'm not just going through the motions. Staring today I'm going to decrease my cardio from 3 hours to 1.5 hours (on a bike) a week and going to try to eat a lot more.
