    cardio 5x a week = CRAZY??

im trying to cut but only working out 3-4 times a week

to get my metabolism going, i am trying to do cardio 4-5 times a week.

I know it is not ideal, but i do not see why not

can you guys tell me why 5 times cardio session per week is bad?

instead of going 500 caloric defecit, i want to lower only 200-300 and do cardio for like 300 calories each session

    what do you think

Who says it's bad? I see no problem with it. Personally, I like working cardio in when I start to plateau. I will do cardio maybe twice a week.. stop losing weight, add another day. Keep adding days until I'm at 5-6 days a week. 2-3 high intensity days, 2-3 low intensity days.

It is my opinion that cardio is never bad as long as you eat the appropriate amount to achieve the goals you are trying to meet. I gained wait last week yet I road 165 miles on my bike over 3 days and went for 2 12 mile hikes...man, did I eat a lot!!!

My opinion of course holds little merit because I am still a little dude; however, I have gained 20 pounds in a few months while continuing to do a ton of cardio.

    I do cardio 6x a week.

M,W,F - 1:30 minutes walks(And these are my lift days)
T, TH - About 30-40 mins of high intense cardio(typically 3 mile runs at 7mph.)

I know the walks don't get you as tired as a high intensity cardio session but in the amount of time I do them I burn almost the same amount of calories as I do during the high intensity days. And I feel great. I have seen no signs of fatigue.

It's appropriate if it's in-line with your goals. My cardio frequency isn't as much because I moderate my diet and my goals are somewhat mass-oriented.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Even when bulking, there's a lot of benefit to cardio just for general health. And when you go to cutting, you'll have the groundwork laid to do some good work - if you've got no conditioning you won't be able to get much real work done before you're out of breath.

If you want to do that it won't do you any harm, but it won't make you look any different. 500 cal deficit is a 500 cal deficit however you achieve it.

5 times a week isn't bad, i'd find it very very boring though
