Also I am copying Erica since her and I are dating and it's getting pretty serious.
Anyway, I've competed in 4 meets since 2012 and just finished my last one this past weekend with a 245 squat, 130 bench, and 325 deadlift. Not my best in the squat or bench so I was slightly disappointed since I've squatted 250 (very easily) and benched 140, but hey... a meet is a different game.
To be honest I didn't think I have never had much confidence in my lifts until now, after not being strong at all during my contest prep I bounced back and put 65lbs on my total since August which is pretty exciting. My heart is really in powerlifting and I am excited to see what happens with the next meets! Speaking of that, December 15th will be my first USAPL meet and I plan on using that meet to qualify for nationals and then take a trip to eat all the food with the hubs, Erica and Josh. Thankfully I have my sexy piece of meat husband to coach me, I feel sorry he has to deal with me sometimes.
This week is a deload, then we have 3 training weeks, meet week and then it's go time.

Agree for sure about the back stuff, I do a lot of it too, and can row over 100lb DBs for reps, but I'm just brutal at BB rowing lol. Moving fast is hard, conditioning like that is really a good idea and I should probably start doing a bit of it myself. Except on stationary bike because champions can sit down and condition at the same time heheh
