Now that I'm at a light I can text. I guess to actually leave periods and commas you have to physically say the words while using svoice.

The Android 4.4.2 update just popped up on my Nexus 5. The camera is MUCH MUCH better now. Zero shutter lag, instant focus. They just totally fixed the one negative thing. Nexus 5 GOAT master race checking in official now...

u wot m8? Do you have a d-link router? I have nothing but praise for the wifi strength and connectivity, but some folks have had issue with that router specifically, not the phone.

Any misc brahs having problems downloading MMS messages on hangouts? i had to turn it off for SMS as i was receiving MMS messages and couln't even view the ****ing things.

I'm using Handcent SMS on my Nexus 5. Works great and very customizable. I didn't like using hangouts for texting and I needed my widget.

I picked up a couple of the xtremeguard protectors during cyber monday (posted a couple pages back). And so far they are holding up well (considering the price). They require a "wet" install, so I was careful not to get any water in any of the speakers grilles or mic holes.

im buying unlocked no contract. I haven't held a note before but I have really big hands and I prefer big phones.

I went from a iPhone 4s to a Note 3 and honestly haven't noticed the size difference that much. The only issue I've run into is the one hand operation is a little cumbersome.

Saw a 10000 mAh batter with case from zero lemon? that looks badass and people have reported doesnt make the phone that much more cumbersome. also last several days with moderate to heavy use.

Caseology 25.99 .... 2 extra batteries AND a battery charger. That makes 3 batteries. One in your phone and you can rotate 2 on the wall charging. I haven't plugged my phone to a cord to charge in 3 weeks.. When it gets to 10% I take it out put it on the charger and put the one on the charger in my phone.. my 3rd one is fully charged and I keep in my car in case of emergency.

Best note 3 product out there.

Yeah it seems nice, I have the spirion (spelling?) Slim fit case so taking on/off the case takes 10 seconds. Personally I like the idea of having backup batteries. Especially since I'm a kid at heart and love the new parks (universal/Busch gardens) and things to where I always have a backup battery.

Also the fact that when/if I travel I don't even need to bring a cord. Just the battery charger and my 2 extra batteries. Either way is nice.

Realistically I'm getting 12 hours per full battery (I play clash of clans/music in the gym/social media.) So the 3 batteries for me is awesome.

If you don't like swapping batteries that's a good idea you posted absolutely. Enjoy the phone man, I'm still in love with mine a month later.

I'm coming from an iphone, and anytime I see an iPhone now I'm just like "that **** looks way to small to even read texts" lol

What I need is a do not disturb app that stops all notifications from lighting up my screen or Led light. All the apps I look at only turn my phone to silent but I keep it on silent all the time anyway.

I think custom rom maybe? I know theres "quiet hours" on some roms, when you turn it on screen doesn't flash/awake from notifications, not sure about LED light though.
But that is a good idea for an app!

This. Alot of the times I'm in an area with crap data connection and it takes forever to sign in, search for a food and add it.
I made a windows application because of this (see sig), but I've always wanted to make one for mobiles.
I wish there was an offline version of myfitnesspal, the database would be included when you download the app and when new foods are added to the database you could just update it.

Wifi seems to have good range. Issue I have is it randomly drops the connection and takes a while to reconnect. Sometimes it goes all day without issue, sometimes its every half hour. Annoys the absolute fuk out of me.

This is with different ones, mine at home is a Asus N56U.

Is it unrooted? You can try different ROM or just modems if you are rooted.

What phone do you have before? If you got Iphone, there are basically android equivalents of the apps you had before if that's the case. You can start downloading them.
