I have been having bad luck with my note 3 as well. I am on my fourth one due to manufacturing defects. First i could only use speaker phone, next the front facing camera crapped out, then the back facing camera crapped out, and finally the screen blacked out. Every time Sprint has had me a new one within 24hrs. With all of those issues, i must say this is by far my favorite device........

I just got the HTC One M8 and I can't find anything as good as the Smart Actions my old Motorola had. I've tried a few other apps and they are either seriously time consuming and/or not nearly as functional and efficient. You brahs know of anything? Smart Actions was pimp, I could have it mute my phone at night and dim it, BUT whoever I put on a certain list would still ring through, perfection.

KeepSafe Vault or QuickPic(creates a .nomedia file in folder to keep the pics hidden in all gallery apps).

Use a file manager app (I use ES file explorer) to to create a folder with a . in front of it (for example .private, etc) then move the pictures into that folder. The pics in that folder will be hidden from the gallery app.
In ES file explorer you can also choose to display or hide hidden folders. If you set it to hide hidden folders then all folders with a . in the front will be hidden even if you enter the file manager app (you'll have to change he settings to show hidden folders) This just adds a second level of privacy and makes it harder to find whatever pics/vids your trying to hide.Last edited by Retarted; 06-30-2014 at 01:58 AM.

Nexus 5 brahs.
Have you noticed battery improvements since 4.4.3, not sure if coincidence or wtf but my battery stats seem to have improved alot, even though i don't think there were any changes that addressed battery life in 4.4.3 or 4.4.4?
Also for unawares, checkout the app Unified Remote - ****ing awesome.
I have my PC connected to my TV, its what i use to stream/watch movies on. I have a hotkey setup to switch the displays, but the only pain in the ass is when i want to put the next episode on/find something else to stream, have to get up, swap displays back to the monitor so i can read the text, find the movie, swap displays etc.
Unified Remote basically you control your computer input (mouse/keyboard) through your phone, full version has specific remotes for VLC/Itunes/Chrome/Youtube. Long story short, its ****ing awesome, one of the only apps i've actually purchased the full version for.
Also brahs, how do you make it so the homescreen will autorotate too?Free Misc Calorie Tracker (Windows only): http://caloriewizard.net84.net/

Got the LG G3 last week. A few things to share now that I've been using it for a few days. I suggest you take heed if you're thinking about using this phone. I went from G2 to Z2 to G3.
- The battery life is disappointing. I'm getting roughly ~35% less battery life compared to G2 and Xperia Z2 - around 4 hours of screen on time (more often 3 than 4) as oppose to 6+ compared to G2/Z2.
- Phone isn't as smooth as other flagship, when you're scrolling in settings menu or a webpage it is not as smooth as the other flagships (think of the difference as 30fps vs 60fps).
- DPI: I have excellent vision and I CANNOT tell the difference between the G3 and other 1080p phones around the same size (5+ inches) under normal usage. None, nada, nil.
- White balance - It is noticeably warm/yellow
- Low contrast
- Excessive sharpening
- Minimum brightness is too high/max brightness is too low.
What's interesting is that most of the problems above (DPI, smoothness, battery, sharpening, min.max brightness) seems to be intertwined. Here's why.
When I used the phone at night or in a dark environment the screen was uncomfortably bright. So I used a "filter" app that lowers the screen's brightness further than set by the phone's auto brightness setting. (specifically an app called Yet Another Auto Brightness). That made the phone usable at night but makes the phone look disgusting with sharpening artifacts everywhere. You have to see it to believe how bad it is. Another thing, at max brightness the screen gets very hot so it will not stay at max brightness for long, it is noticeably dim when used in bright sun light. Its not impossible to see but its enough to be uncomfortable when used outside, the phone actually tells you it is throttling the brightness because it is too hot.
= The need to win the DPI race -> High DPI wasn't noticeable in normal usage -> Let's sharpen everything -> Oh no, sharpening artifact when the screen goes below certain brightness -> Set the minimum brightness high -> Battery life suffers from higher than usual brightness/DPI (smoothness suffers as an added bonus). Then there is the heat causing LG to throttle the brightness.
There are things to like about the phone (bezel design/camera especially) but overall IMO this phone is DEFINITELY NOT an upgrade from the G2, it's a side grade at best. A downgrade in some usage scenario.
They seem to have thrown bandages at some of the problems like making the phone battery removable to make up for the battery life but in the end I don't think the DPI race is worth it, especially when you can't even see the difference.
Disappointed because G2 was such an awesome phone and I was really looking forward to this phone being even better.Last edited by xtraviolent; 07-01-2014 at 07:40 AM.

Please help me, Android brahs.
I am currently using a rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100GT) with the latest CyanogenMod. I am having some problems with apps randomly freezing and locking up the phone. I suspect it might be a RAM issue.
Can anyone suggest me the most lightweight, low-resource ROM to try out?
Thanks.?

Question guys:
Are there any alternatives to Switchpro Widget? Or do you have a fix for my issue? When I toggle something, the bottom indicator doesn't change. Like you can see below, the ones that are toggled are in blue.
If I can't get this fixed, I'll probably look for an alternative. I love having easy access to those things on my homescreen.
