As in defeat their military and invade by conventional means (no nukes).
For example Russia, I say 2 weeks max for their military to crumble. Could probably do it without a single casualty just bomb from he air.

I don't think the US could ever defeat Australia even with nukes.

Do you realize how big Russia is?
I couldn't see us being able to continuously occupy them. Plus it would cost so much money to keep us supplied being there, especially in the winter weather trying to transport supplies.Survival.
