Just wondering if anyone took a greens supplement. They seem to be really big on the grappling and mma forum I read.
Anyone take them? What benefits do you see? Recommend a brand?
Or maybe others think its bs.

Honestly, they just seem like a waste to me. I think you'd see far more benefit just including more vegetables in your diet. Really, if you're taking a halfway-decent multi and have at least a couple servings of vegetables/day, I think something like this would not be too worthwhile. Furthermore, I would put a high-potency green tea extract (e.g. Lean Green [Primaforce]) far ahead of a "greens" supplement.

I have never really liked vegtables so i ended up getting a green supplement last month. Even though nothing replaces real vegtables its a step in the right direction. I picked up some stuff like those that you mentioned at trader joes for 9 bucks and throw it in with my morning smoothie. Obviously im not going to really see results with it but its nice to know that i am getting some greens.

Yes, real veggies may be better...but you would most likely need to eat a ton of different stuff to compare to most green products on the market.
Im not sure a multi plays into the whole thing. First off, multi's are synthetic.....any vitamins/minerals you get from a greens product would be much better as they come from whole foods and not a lab.
Green tea......has nothing to do with a greens supplement. Green tea is often taken for the AO effects.....moreso the egcg. Alot of green/phyto products do contain alittle green tea as well.....ill assume for the AO properties.
