Gaining only a certain amount restricts calories. I assumed Chris meant small excess in regards to maintenance to achieve weight gain via 3DMJ thinking. Fine for bodybuilding, not for strength sports IMO.
Right, but that level can also change week by week. Your training has different phases. During a high volume phase, you may burn more calories than with your high intensity. You need to be able to plan for these things and maintain in a bit of excess. I would rather eat in a lot of excess, then clean up occasionally....or better yet, back down a tad and let it level out.
Yes. This backs up some thinking of mine. Gaining weight isn't for the next total, it is for the one after that.
Yay!
Correct.
Squatted 500 and thought I had abs but it was really a shadow crew
Getting to 300 lbs sucked, getting to 325 sucked worse. If levels out after you get use to it though.
Blood pressure sucks. Cutting way back on drinking and hydrating a bit in excess helps.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

hmmmm
I doubt I can fill out the super heavies yet, at least not without getting very sloppy. but the plan after my February meet is to get well into 84 and go from there. building is sooo slow when you're female; all of you whiners just think about that, you're lucky
no just regular freak or possibly circus freak, mr. no-hands squat
