Question How can I change a exercise without it resetting my previous exercises to zero?

If I'm using a template to enter in my workout numbers and lets say halfway through I change out an exercise for a different one and then continue entering in my data and then click "Finished with my workout" it resets all the numbers before the changed workout to zero. This has happened since I've started using this site. Has anyone found a work around for this?
