    First of all: policestateusa.com

    lmao

Second of all: "what kind of police officer wouldn't try and save a three year old burning in a house?"
probably the kind that wouldn't even let someone else go into the burning house

a firefighter in full gear wouldn't even go in

One thing i've learned about this forum is that dudes are such cowards without the ability to think for themselves that they'll defend the police regardless. It's why I don't even take responses in topics like this seriously anymore.

I don't understand how anyone wouldn't try to save their own kid or prevent someone from doing so. I'd much rather die trying to save my son than imagine him burning alive.

And yet this guy now has to live with the fact that he could have saved his kid, but was denied that opportunity by the state. That's tough to live with.

Terrible. Parents' first responisbility is to protect your loved ones regardless of your own personal safety. No one, not a single person, would fault an officer for letting a father try to save his child regardless of the outcome. Fire, burglar, natural disaster.. if it comes to harm, I will stand in the way of it to protect my family.

This is the same attitude cops have against armed citizens. As if it's NOT the citizen's duty to protect themselves and their loved ones with lethal force of a firearm.

when your son is burning alive, there is no perspective, there is only trying to save him.

For those of you that have sons and feel differently, that's kinda sad.

considering his son was 3 years old, he most likely suffocated very quickly. even if the man had been allowed to enter the house his son was probably already dead.

How the **** could you leave your kid behind as a parent? They left the house without their kid. This was their own decision.

Also too weak to break a door or window? It sucks that the officers stopped him. But it's their fault their kid died.

I usually support the police, but if they interfered with me saving my son's life, they would be the ones burning to death. I don't care if I die, I am going into that house to save him or die trying.

we do understand the fathers perspective bro, and its very unfortunate. but going into a burning building doesnt help anybody. you just become one more person that needs to be rescued, and it makes the situation a lot more difficult. you need proper equipment and training on how to deal with these situations or you have no chance in hell of coming out alive.

So if someone is drowning and you call 911 would the police be obligated to restrain people trying to save said drowning person? I realize its not the same as a fire but your jurisdictional bull**** would still apply.

LOL at some of you trying to quantify and demoralize human lives by equating it to "minimizing casualties"

Looking at humans from a purely statistical point of view never ends well...

4th page now so no one will read this but....

THERE WERE NO FIREFIGHTERS AT THE HOUSE AT FIRST... ONLY COPS THAT WOULDN'T GO IN.

by the time the fire department arrived probably 5-10 min later the house was too hot to enter.
