Because 99% of Zyzz fans range from ages 13-16. It's nothing more than a kids fad. Zyzz had a nice physique, no doubt, but in my opinion there are many many young men out there with better physiques and more admirable attitudes. I personally think Zyzz was a typical obnoxious, cocky, and annoying 20 year old that made a few flex vids and a few "umad" vids and other aspiring young lifters ate it up. I can tell you however, that the non-teen (which is the majority) of the BB community isn't mirin' that hard.

I mean think about it... Outside of Teen BB nobody knows who the hell Zyzz is. Why? He isn't famous. He never did anything worthy of the real worlds attention. lol.

Honestly, the only reason he is popular was because he would use his good looks to get girls & lived a party lifestyle
Every teen dreams of having a great physique, amazing looks, lots of girls, and the privilege to go to lots of music festivals.
when people see his chatroulette vids and vids with girls just clawing for him, that motivates them. they want the same.

The main reason I don't really admire Zyzz is because in terms of bodybuilding, he never really provided anything useful. He never made any serious bodybuilding or lifting videos. He never really went in to detail about Zyzz before and Zyzz after. He just threw up a couple before and after pics and said "I'm a sick **** now umirin? Umad? Come at me."... There are people out there who were just as skinny, if not skinnier, who gave their testimonies and made inspiring videos, wrote books, shared their secrets, routines, and diets. What did Zyzz do besides make ridiculous videos and die? It sucks he passed away, he was way too young, but his death shouldn't put him on a pedestal.

I don't know why some of you guys started lifting. Maybe it was a personal decision, maybe health related, maybe the sport/lifestyle interested you, or maybe you did it for aesthetics.
Zyzz, on the other hand, did it because he wanted to be different. He wanted to create an aura wherever he went. All his life he was the skinny ectomorph (****types i know lol but) who weighed 26 pounds. He was funny, he was likable, but not bangable (no homo) before he started lifting, lets be real, personality is only half the game. His body, by our standards, isn't even that great, agreeable and agreed, and to hop on dat dere celltech so early might not have been his best choice. But it's not about how is body looked, and not about if he had the max lifts.
It's not even about getting girls. The most popular Zyzz tribute video has a recording of him saying something along the lines of, "Zyzz isn't real, its all just a fukkin joke brahs. Just bein a sikkunt out there".
Sure he joked around a lot and trolled a lot of people in public. The entire aesthetics crew said that while he was a lovable, funny d-bag on camera and acted crazy, when he was off the camera and talking to people IRL he was mix of being funny, polite, naughty and all of those traits society wants us to have.
This whole "Zyzz" act, it is what he says it is: a joke. A facade. The reason? How many beta-****gy threads have you read of guys struggling to talk to girls? And half of these guys are fukkin jacked and look like Gods compared to the competition. A good majority of girls would say yes in a heartbeat to get with some of our (T)-miscers, but girls aren't completely physical like a good majority of men are. Without confidence, humor, or some enigmatic elements, men's attraction to women plummets. There are LOTS of guys out there with a poverty six pack and who was legs by our standards, and have 9/10 gangas in their pockets. Why? Because of who they are, because they aren't afraid to put themselves out there.
So many of us are, and also are in fear of rejection. And we need to get over that. The concept of Zyzz has helped lots of people get over that fear, that barrier that separates them from having fun in life, or become a 40-year old virgin.
It sounds lame, I know. You guys might not even get it, and that's cool. But don't think he was a d-bag that pulled girls from right after he was born. He worked for it, he drank capri sun sure, but he still worked for it, and he gave so many people motivation to become better (physically and interpersonally) as well as not to be afraid of others.
When I finish my bulk and cut, by misc standards I'll be a skinnykunt who needs to bulk up more. By human standards, women standards I'll be "hot". And a lot of you guys don't care about women, i know, you just wanna be huge and strong. That's great too, that's what you want. Those are your goals. Those are not, however, the goals of many men. And that isn't a bad thing. Who are we to decide the fate of others? Maybe you already have the confidence that these guys don't have. That's how you live your life, you stick to it and you base it off of your desires. Thats fantastic and I encourage you to keep living it that way.
He was more than that. He was more than just a d-bag who lifted and cycled and lived FBGM, he was a reminder of the pleasures of life and not to neglect them (nor the more important parts). He was more than just a guy who flexed on webcams.
I'm not trying to be a zyzz cawksucker or anything, but I'll say im a zyzzbrah on the forums, just because of his personification of life. I've had... a very different life compared to many other people. Nothing to be ungrateful about, but lots of things could have been better. Seeing someone do all the things he did, it makes me feel hopeful. It makes me smile, every time he did some d-baggy thing in public and trolls mcdonalds and wherever he and the crew went. It gives me hope, that I'm gonna make it.
Like he said, we're all gonna make it.
Zyzz was on a pedestal long before his death, only his fanbase skyrocketed after his death but there was still a great large one while he was alive and living life.Clean and jerk: 242

zyzz was popular because he turned from a skinny auschwitz kid to someone with a decent physique. sure there are people with way better physiques out there but to the general masses who never lifted or looked at a bodybuilding competition he was like a god. he went from being the nerdy kid to being someone who wasnt afraid of girls and didnt ive a **** what people thought, and yeah he was a bit obnoxious but he inspired a lot of people.
he was a bit of a douche but i still think he left a good legacy and definitely inspired people to change their life.
also nearly ever non-lifter i know, knows who zyzz is

Not completely sure, but he has inspired more dik riding than I have ever seen on the Internet before.
He looked great sure, but there are so many skinny to shredded transformations on here that I never knew what made him so special.
I'm honestly more impressed with babyslayer. Dude went through so much chit and proved everyone wrong. Bit of a cheeky kunt, but damn did he get strong.***The Misadventires of Gandalf the Black***

Yeah, this. cliffs:
zyzz was a good guy
acted like a d bag
act was to inspire confidence and ish
helped a lot of people with girls (and boys if ur gay)
(t)-misc underestimates itself
we could get sl00ts with a poverty 6 pack
confidence is really important
And srsly, he was a great person that threw on an excellent act on probably AN HOUR or TWO TOTAL of video footage. It was both entertaining and inspiring. He was and still is a massive inspiration to me, He was a business student and understood concepts of creating a popular "Self-brand" He came up with the idea to use youtube to climb to fame, and in all seriousness it worked pretty damn well. The problem with you guys who hate on him or dont understand him is because you literally don't get the concept you saw him ON FILM. not only on film but you saw him on a very limited amount of film + the fact you were unable to see the real personality behind the created and exaggerated character. AND THATS WHY SHE SHOWED BOOBS.
Did u read?"Obsessed is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated."

There are multiple reasons as to why so many people followed Zyzz. He began as a nobody who couldn't manage to lift the bar and created a character, Zyzz, who happened to be quite arrogant. We can go around in circles all day about how good or bad of a person he was; everyone is entitled to an opinion. My opinion is this: Zyzz started with no physique and, although he juiced, he put in countless hours in the gym to better himself. Zyzz may have been a douchebag in his videos (I never thought this, I just found them humorous), but he managed to gain the attention of young lifters around the world. Zyzz is the reason tens of thousands of teens decided to get in shape. You can hate Zyzz all you want, but you have to respect the facts that 1) he encouraged people to live their lives to the fullest and 2) he created a lifting movement that continued after his death.
If Zyzz inspires you, that's awesome. If you hate him, that's OK, too. But there's no sense in pissing on the guy's grave. These threads pop up all the time.

He was a good nice kid, I remember when he first joined the site and was asking me for help with the unmentionables. He was not a bodybuilder, his goal was not to be huge as **** like most of you wannabe's - he wanted to be symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing to the eye - in which case anyone who can see with their eyes will tell you he acquired an amazing physique. He was not cocky or obnoxious irl, he sought out to help and inspire others and build confidence in those who at one time like him had low self esteem, in which he did just that.
I personally feel bad for him, he had a lot going for him to have his life cut so short. But even so, he accomplished much more than most all his haters will accomplish in their lifetime of working out enhanced or not.Bench Press - 225 x 41; 275 x 30
