And I only calculated macros for eating 2 of the yolks (out of the 12)...so if you don't mind eating more yolks...the protein count is EVEN MORE!

The whites are fine, no cholestrol.
The yolks have alot of cholestrol. This may or not be an issue, but there are alot of people out there who struggle to keep cholestrol levels down. It can also be a risk in the long term to your heart health.
However, some people also say that alot is good for you (probably broscientists haha).
It's just safer to avoid too much cholestrol but a little bit is definitely good:

Its funny how eggs are well known for helping raise the good cholesterol and lowering the bad cholesterol in your body these day, turns out the people (Me and many others here included) are not bro scientiests, you are in this case, I would suggest brushing up on your nutrition.
Unless you have an underlying genetic or issue with cholesterol due to poor dieting in general, I would be more wary, but its possible you still benefit from yolks.Eat the damn yolk.

i agree that it's blown out of proportion.
but to say that dietary cholesterol has NO impact on blood cholesterol is just as ignorant as the people who say it always increases blood cholesterol. people need to seriously chill the fcuk out (in both camps).
personally, i've had border line high blood cholesterol (LDL) since I was 23 years old. It has slowly improved over the years, but I need to control it still further. So that's why I limit my dietary intake to just 2 whole eggs per day. (some would say that even that's too much).
But others are 'non-responders'...meaning their dietary intake of cholesterol causes very little increase in their blood cholesterol levels...others are not so lucky. people need to quit this 'all or nothing' mentality...

all i know is that i'm border line high on my LDL's...and i'm not gonna listen to a bunch of broscientists here who tell me to eat 12 whole eggs per day. i may be an unlucky 'responder' to dietary cholesterol...and frankly...i don't want to mess with my heart health.
they say you should do lipid blood tests every 5 years or so. i guess i'm due for one soon. i'm going to continue eating 2 whole eggs per day...and i'll report back to this thread with said cholesterol level results.

This is another common misconception. LDL and cholesterol are not the same thing. The medical field is WAY behind the times when it comes to cholesterol in general as well as testing. Trust me I have a close cousin that is a doctor and a couple friends in medical school, just because you are a doctor does not mean you know **** about nutrition. It's almost a joke in today's age how misinformed many doctors are. There are other factors that can cause an increase in LDL numbers, the main one being triglycerides.
