    I'm not very good so I play low stakes.

    Jamie plays up to 2/5 usually.. Yeah.. He says he relies on his 9-5 for money now & he said winning the Main Event was luck. He said he gets a lot of criticism for being a terrible player because he truly does not understand the game like most other pros lol

    He'll be like, "what do you want me to do.. Fold.. Call.. Raise? I'll do whatever you want me to do.." And then he does it.. Hence the "punting money" hahah

    To be honest Inna I was shocked you planned on competing again so soon especially after gaining back so much weight. Take a few years and gain some quality mass and next time you step on stage you will destroy the old you.

    Yeah, thanks for the words Dean. Guess it's back to the drawing board. Not sure when I will compete again but I am sure enjoying life right now!

    UPDATE

    Things have been rough.

    Friend got a DUI.. hit a 61-year-old pedestrian.. he died at the scene.. involuntary manslaughter.. I posted a pic of her in the past of us partying/clubbing. Not sure what's gonna happen at this point.

    There are some other things that happened but that has gotta be the worst so far.

    Anyhoo..

    Weight is sitting around 175.. I think I gained like 10-11 pounds since my low of 164.. don't even think it's been a month :[

    Ben & Jerry's & kid's cereal has been on the menu every day

    This girl told me that I got "big" lol

    Lifting-wise.. nothing exciting but I managed to hit a volume PR on sumo deadlifts.. 315 x 3 reps for 5 sets (I hate deadlifts lol)

    Only lifting 3 days a week.. very low volume.. maybe giving 75% intensity on most days.. light cardio here & there

    Got a workout in with 2 of my buddies.. they wanted to test their 1RM's on Bench since there were 3 of us

    I managed to hit 255, 275, couldn't lock out 295.. afterwards.. hit a rep PR of 185 x 15

    Stan Efferdine & his posse were repping 4 plates+ on bench so that was kinda motivating lol

    All in all, my strength is creeping back up now that my calories are retarded high.. still not tracking but I know I'm in a surplus

    Scrolling through this forum..... sorry about your friend, sad someone died too. We both have something crime related happening in our lives: My step dad was recently charged with grand larceny for stealing $500 from his IT job at the hospital and it is seriously going to effect his IT career even if the judge just gives him a misdemeanor. Sad day when your step dad, who served 13 years in the military, and provides for the family, is possibly going to prison depending on if the judge is nice or not. And, how dare you miss out on Snoop Dog, lol.

    Turns out the pedestrian was J-walking so there is some light at the end of the tunnel. I highly doubt too much bad will happen to your dad.. What he did doesn't even sound too bad. Srs. Not like it was rape or something lol.

    Thoughts: Prolly shouldn't have gone so heavy on db incline press because my front delts felt wrecked/pain.. But I've gotten 80's for 10 reps before & 85's were taken so I just "yolo'd" it.

    Weighed myself this morning & saw 175 on the scale.

    Not tracking macros but I take 4 scoops of whey daily for 100g protein..

    Yeah, I just kinda wanted a little mental break from it considering I have been tracking since June of last year.

    Pretty soon I am gonna figure out my current intake by tracking everything for about a week & go from there. That's the plan anyways lol.

    Thoughts: Prolly shouldn't have gone so heavy on db incline press because my front delts felt wrecked/pain.. But I've gotten 80's for 10 reps before & 85's were taken so I just "yolo'd" it.

    Weighed myself this morning & saw 175 on the scale.

    Not tracking macros but I take 4 scoops of whey daily for 100g protein..

    Tell me about it. Unfortunately, he stole $10 bucks over a misdemeanor, so it is a felon. It really comes down to the if the judge is cool, if not, he could spend5 years in prison and have to pay a fine. Either way, his IT career is over. He'll never be able to find a decent paying job with a misdemeanor on his record. Step dad (the other one, ROFL... I have 4 dads) spent 1 day in jail and he can only find employment at Dominos. It's not necessarily a misdemeanor that will cause him to have trouble, it's if he gets a misdemeanor for theft... no one is going to hire someone that steals.

    UPDATE

    Alright guys, I'm not gonna lie. I've been slacking & I have not been enjoying prep. I feel miserable.

    I'm not one to post long posts or share too much but yeah.

    Diet = horrible.. weighing out my food & adding it up at the end of the day.. eating wayyyy tooo much (4-5K calories a day lately).. skipped cardio this whole week because 50 minutes 6x a week is bullchit.

    At best, I'll hit macros for 2-3 days & then derail again. I miss the days where I just "ate" w/o tracking.. I feel like I had a healthier relationship with food.

    I told my friend who is coaching me that the love/passion I once had for lifting is now almost non-existent & that I really did not want to step foot in a gym again. I have skipped some days.

    That's when he asked if I wanted to go eat sushi & so I said okay & invited some of my other buddies too.

    I mean, even with hitting new lows, hitting new PR's etc. it feels good for a split second & then it's gone & you're hungry for more.

    Weight is up from my low of 164 back up to 171 ish. I realized I can get really fat easily & also drop weight fairly quickly.

    The gym is a really social thing for me because I lift with many different people including my coach but lately I feel burnt out & exhausted

    I check in with my coach on Sundays so we'll see what he says

    Now at 20 weeks out.. I prolly won't make this show

    I know I want to compete but maybe not right now.. I will slowly get back on track & progress towards the end goal

    I may take a week or two off from the gym & just start over.. no point in going if it isn't enjoyable

    We'll see what my coach has to say today & we'll go from there

    I didn't want to post long paragraphs because it's harder to read. Thanks to those who took the time to read this.

    Even if I don't post much on my log for the next "however long until I feel passionate about lifting again".. I still want to & will follow along with everyone else's journal

    Sorry if I am letting some people down & thanks for the support/comments/positivity everyone!
    Thanks for posting this Inna! I jumped on your page hoping to see some shredded pics of you and when I didn't I had to scroll back and see wtf happened! It's tough to work that hard and not get to the end goal in the time frame you wanted. I'm struggling a bit right now too but I'm still loving it when I actually follow my plan. I hope you find that passion again soon. Nothing but love brotha!

    Powerlifting doesn't appeal that much to me lol.. deadlift is my kryptonite!

    So last night my friend & I hung out with two of our friends from Georgia. They were here to play in the WSOP.. they were playing 25/50 PLO at the Wynn.. the pit boss gave them a $400 food comp to Allegro so we ate like kings.
