Partial reps on a smith machine with light weight typically equals small legs for those who's genetics aren't favorable for leg development. I'm not sure what he really expected. His upper body looks very dense but that only makes his legs look worse. I have seen natties (many of them) with better leg development but to be fair they had better genetics for legs. I seriously doubt he'll ever turn pro. Even the Master's division is pretty damn competitive.

Saw him load up 405 when working out with this skinny kid who was doing 1/4 reps, also with 405. Expected him to go to depth... Half reps. Not surprised his legs lag, though to be on as much stuff as he's on, and train legs with a variety of exercises and have legs like that tells me he doesn't have great leg genetics.
