Different types of squats same workout?

Question...can you do heavy squats and then light, explosive ones in the same workout? Like say you want to increase your vertical but also want to build mass and progress with total squatting weight...how would you go about incorporating the two?

You should always squat as heavy as you are able to do with proper and explosive form. I think you are asking if it is okay to do heavier squats without good form then going lighter and focusing on the full range of motion. Not only would you be risking injury, but if you are not doing the full ROM with the heavy squats, you are not activating the same set of muscles as doing a full squat. Always go as heavy as you can, but don't sacrifice form. But if you want to include some more lighter squats to perfect form without having to focus as much on the heavy weight, that's not a bad idea. I typically do warmup sets beforehand, and focus 100% on form.
