Is this normal for Dymatize Elite Whey?

I used 2 scoops of this in 10oz's of water, and there was small particles in the shake. The small particles wasn't like clumped up protein powder but more like a pulp. The one I use is chocolate mint and taste kind of chalky, but its way better than ON's double rich chocolate. Is this normal? Should I use more water? Does this problem only exist with this flavor?

I haven't had that happen with Orange Dreamsicle. I'd probably try more water next time, see if that clears it up.

I just purchased double chocolate but i haven't tried it yet. I'm still waiting for my ON to finish. I'll find out if this is the case

just make it in the blender. always tastes best and creamier with a few ice cubes + milk

That's great, but I always use water with my shake because the only time I use a shake is PWO.

my dymatize vanilla was like that... i didnt run into that with the mocha though. hmm. o well

i have tried almost all there flavors and it has happened in about half of them so i switched to champions pure whey
i think it even tastes better then dymatize, and thats hard to do in my opinion

it happens with my orange dreamsicle. Kinda chalky... thats all. I figure after pounding my muscles for an hour with weights I can suck it up and just drink it.

Yea it still taste good, I was just worried I wasn't getting all the Protein or another nutrient/mineral from not drinking the particles left in the shaker. It's not alot though.

I would really try more water, I can't imagine two scoops with only 10oz. I would do at least 16oz and 20 would be even better

That's way to much water, that like chuging a water bottle full of a protein shake. Besides my shaker only holds 16oz's. I tried 12oz's last night, there was better mixability, but still lingering particules. It didn't bother me though.

Iv'e had them on mine before but they didn't really bother me though just drank it normaly

Well I've found with Dymatize protein powders the mixability is a little less than that of ONs.But the taste makes up for it.

I would bet that more water would be a good idea to fix that little problem you are having.
