Took an APFT at 0500 and now my knee is on fuarking fire. Dat feel when you're 26 but joints make you feel like you're 70.
Also going to the Rockstar Mayhem Fest in STL on Wednesday, hoping I can get out of the CCC fast enough to see Trivium play at 1730!"A pint of sweat, saves a gallon of blood" - General George S. Patton

Those feels aren't all good.
Been like 7 months since I shot some form of .50, almost a year since I've seen something blow up. It's also been a while since I stayed up for hours past bedtime just waiting for someone to walk in and give me permission to go to sleep, so it's not all bad I guess :P
My last unit was really bad about the last part. We might be done training by 1900 but they would have us sitting around until 0:30 because they needed to put out the info for the next day. Hey, here's a bright idea....Let us go to bed at a reasonable time and just wake up the NCOs 30 minutes earlier than normal so we can organize the day.

My last couple PSG's have been really good about that. The one before our current would tell us to go away and if anyone had a problem they could talk to him. He was a very loud aggressive person who'd been in since early 90's. Needless to say no one questioned what he did and we didn't have to stick around for the BS that would ensue a lot of days. He would send a mass text/call everyone about what's going on the next day. Easily the best PSG I've ever seen/had to work under. Too bad he's about to retire because the Army could use more people like him.

My last unit was like that. Used to kill me. No one above the PSG had been deployed and they were all scared shtless of making any decision. Going to chow or piss in the middle of the night in full kit. Sending out emails with a request to email a response hidden somewhere in small print, your ass if you didnt respond. My current unit is better but still not what I want. Im just to the point that I am sure everyone reached with the Army at some point, just disenchanted with the whole thing. Sad part is my end date was June 4, still in waiting on paperwork to be finished. CO said it would be at least 90 days. LULZ, wot? I do have some badass hillbilly soldiers right now though. I do enjoy them.

exactly
and like 2 months ago he made a thread where he basically blamed a speeding ticket on a case of PTSD that he never knew he had before.
A few days ago he makes a post saying "Former PTSD Crew All cured with simple weight lifting."
Either strong 2 month cure, or strong every story he makes up.......I mean tells...... is inconsistent.Last edited by VAPump; 07-17-2014 at 05:02 PM.
