Can anyone ID this rack? Or even just tell me if it's quality or junk?

Looks like an oldskool custom fabricated rack to me. I'd be happy to use it, but some won't. It looks strong, but its a shame they didn't take some off the top portion, and stick it on the spotters as they seem just a little short. Give it a lick of paint and it'll look a bit prettier.

Thanks, hmmm well he's selling it for $175. What do you think of that price?
There's also this Cybex rack for $150. That's suppose to be a good brand right? No safety bars though. Not sure if I should get this one or the other, or neither. (looks like it's torn near the front but he has 2 so maybe the other one isn't)

Without safeties I wouldn't touch the Cybex. I can't help you on whats a good price or not, but I would try and get that very cheap, and then maybe have a welder pimp it with some new safeties. its all reletive to what price you get it for as to whether its worth it though.

That Cybex aint a power rack. Looks like a plate & bar storage rack.
I would show up to look at the first one with safety bars and make sure it was solid then offer him $100 cash, but be willing to pay $150. Not worth more than $150 to me cause it isn't branded and has no plate storage.
My 2 cents. But I'd personally wait on a sumo style power lifter rack that has a platform near the top for sliding a bench in. Animal (I think) has one like I am looking for I am sure pics of it are floating.

I sold a somewhat similar un-branded squat rack (with plate storage) last year for $100, and if took a lot longer to sell at that price than I had expected. I wouldn't pick up another one unless it was an absolutely smoking deal on a branded heavy commercial piece...and even then I'd have to seriously think it over.

That Cybex is a squat rack (with half of it missing). I consider it the best one and Freemotion squat rack the second best. They both have adjustable/removable safeties. The Cybex safeties will rotate making them a perfect option for doing body-weight triceps extensions. It's also good for doing deadlifts and rack pulls.
Here is mine:

A couple of pictures I found on internet. The second one is the Freemotion squat rack

Uhh...maybe yours looks more narrow cause of the bench in it?
I'm not planning a trip back to Dynabody though unless I got a grand in my pocket...I'm not interested in tire kicking them again. They are nice folks and it's a bit of a drive, I know they have good used stuff and will haggle when cash is in hand so that's what I plan to do.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #56 ▪█─────█▪

Those J-Hooks are technically called Detent Pins. The part number for them is 5570-206. Cybex charges $26.71 per pin. The squat rack comes with 4 of them. I am attaching the manual for the rack and a screenshot from Cybex Parts store:

And here is a picture of the detent pin I took for you. I doubt custom fabricators would take up a job of making j-hooks for this particular rack. If you look at the holes on the rack you'll notice that the front and back holes have different diameters. On the other hand, cutting a solid bar to size and reducing its diameter at one end with a lathe would probably suffice.
