Hello my name is Anthony Scott. I am currently on active duty in the United States Army and stationed at Fort Hood, TX. I just wanted to put my story out there for people who are feeling down on themselves and are lacking motivation. Before I joined the Army, I tipped the scales at 310 lbs. I was down in life, a dropout of college, and going nowhere. I was always depressed and never felt like I had a purpose in life. Then one day i decided to change that. I started out by just walking a few laps around my grandmothers house and watching my calories everyday. In about three months I started to notice some progress, and decided to join one of the most physically demanding jobs out there today. The Army dropped to about 190 lbs, however i started to slip again. I tipped the scales at 250 once again, and thought that i would always be what i was. My wife left me during my first deployment because she thought she married a lazy fat piece of s***. And at the time i believed every word she said. With the help of a few gym rats, now some of my best friends, I now weigh in at about 190-195 with a 12 percent BF. It took many years to attain this, but I am so thankful to be where I am.
