Yeah it was such a release of anxiety, stress, worry, happiness, excitement, etc. etc.

Then add in the unplanned c section and oh boy. Was just great to hear him cry immediately mama didn't get to see him until back in room so we had that cliche hallmark moment once here of me showing her the baby still in scrubs and her/I shared a happy cry then too lol.

Know that feel bro. Relieved everything went well in the end for Mrs. Hish and son. Hearing them crying straight away is always a good sign.

Glad the twins are home now Dom...still waiting on pictures!

The baby isn't blowing into a jug, so I'm going to guess the answer is no.

When my first son was born they put him in one of those pans that you put newborns in and he hadn't made a sound. Which is not a good sign. You want the baby to cry. After that, you want it to be quiet so you can get some fkn sleep, but that first cry is important. He cried, then I did.

They mustve been doing some pretty extensive motor system development in utero. Or, they didnt do much and are making up for it in spades now.

I smoked a ham and turkey this year, we had a fuktonne of people in town for the holidays. Glad they all liked the turkey and ate most of it. I made some gumbo with both meats today and it was damn tasty. Turkey on it's own, meh, better then a poke in the fukn eye I guess.

My two boys are loud. They are balls of energy who go from asleep to human air horn in no time. No coffee needed. I would love for them to sit nice and quiet and contemplate their 6 year existence, but kids don't do that. And my fkn mother in law can't get this through her head. Her constant shushing is far more annoying than anything the kids could ever be doing. Holidays are great. She needs to go.
