I will be buying a mag holder today.

I honestly wasn't paying much attention at first. We live in an area where people tend to get lost. So, a car turning around isn't very suspicious. The speed with which they come up behind us tipped off my wife. When they turned up our road I realized what was happening. What sealed it was when they started flying up the dirt road. At that point I realized they were trying to catch up and pulled my Glock as I turned in to the driveway.

Buy a G18 mag keep in the car as well. I dono how to handle the situation. I would have said to stay moving in the car on public roads, but when you turned into your house that sort of messed up your options.

Sucks that some idiot would do this.

I never liked the idea of leaving a gun in the car. Usually, the only time my gun isn't on me is when I lock it up at home.

One of my target's from range trip the other day. Shot 150 rounds of tula with no issues except for not being the most accurate and dirty. $11 for a box of 50 I will be getting more.

So......polymer AR lowers. There has been a few come into the market over the years and the overwhelming reports about them have been "no thanks heffe".

On another forum, I ran across a new company that has taken a really hard look at designing a poly lower (not simply making a lower out of poly).

Looks very intriguing, especially at $45. They are also doing them in exact match colors for Magpul's FDE, OD and FG.



Seriously considering picking one up, and if they turn out to be potato, using it for a dedicated .22LR build.

Looks cool and improved with the metal aspects, but let us b real tea, as long as there are aluminum lowers for 5x.xx there is little point to a polymer IMO. Could be wrong though.

I mean I think they would have to be near the 25 buck mark to compete.

I agree, right now. I see the $50-60 aluminum lowers being a market correction for the $250-300 lowers from earlier this year. I think that market will normalize back around the $90-100 range.

They also talk about it being lighter than aluminum. Wut? I always find that a comical "benefit" of poly over aluminum.

Between CdtCox and Rthoe's suggestions you've got plenty of options. Instead of a 2-3 man drill, you could run an individual bounding course similar to what Internexus and I did last time we went out.

Twice over the last few years, I've managed to forget to lock my Jeeps and had things stolen as a result. The first time it was my wallet. This was at a point in time where I left my wallet in the ride and carried DL/credit cards loose in my coin pocket. All they got was a debit card with literally no money on it. They tried to use it for a $5 purchase at a nearby gas station (presumably for cigarettes). It wasn't enough to get the police to actually get a warrant for surveillance tapes, so whatever.

The second time I had my go bag stolen. Food, gas mask, cold weather clothing, binos, a whetting stone, a decent knife, duct tape, etc. and a Voodoo 3 day bag. I was pretty miffed about that.

Long story short, you don't want to be rushing in the house to bring medicine to a sick kid, or have two handfuls of groceries and forget to lock your vehicle and end up losing a $500+ investment along with potentially arming a criminal. Hell, you don't want to lock your vehicle and have some sh*thead smash out your windows and get it, for that matter.

I've tried getting her to shoot 9mm and .380. I've thought about getting a Walther PK 380 or Beretta Cheetah. I don't really know how to fix the problem.
