I've been thumbing through posts but figured I'd throw up my thoughts; why not.
Just recently I started going back to gym; needed too. Explanation is on my Bodyspace, but the short answer is "I was in Army, got injured, gave up in 2006, got fat." Now I want to change that.
I live in a nice place with one helluva gym; lots of machines, treadmills, and dumb bells up to 50lbs. I realize it's not going to be good after certain point when I need more weight to bulk, but for now it does what I need until I get to that point.
Here's my stuff and routine; any recommendations?
ON Hydro Whey (I take this for breakfast and after my workout)
MusclePharm Assault (taken 30 minutes before gym)
ON Fish Oil (taken with breakfast and dinner)
One-a-Day Vitamin (taken with breakfast)
My routine is pretty simple, I suck with muscles so pardon me if I don't say it right;
Monday- Jog 15 minutes at 4MPH zero incline, HR gets to 150-160bpm;; arms (biceps, triceps, traps, delts)
Tuesday- Jog 15 minutes at 4MPH zero incline, HR gets to 150-160bpm;; back (latissium dorsi and the others up by my shoulder blades)
Wednesday- Jog 15 minutes at 4MPH zero incline, HR gets to 150-160bpm;; legs (front and back--theres a machine in my gym that I use)
Thursday- Jog 15 minutes at 4MPH zero incline, HR gets to 150-160bpm;; arms (biceps, triceps, traps, delts)
Friday- Jog 15 minutes at 4MPH zero incline, HR gets to 150-160bpm;; chest/back
Saturday Jog 15 minutes at 4MPH zero incline, HR gets to 150-160bpm;; no weights
What I'm trying to accomplish right now is to get most of the blubber off my stomach; it's a pain but I'm getting there. Next thing I want to do is get strength back in my upper body and my core of all places due my back injury and then I want to bulk my upper body back to how I was in military. It may take me 2 years but I'm committed.
If you have any recommendations I'm all ears;
Thanks gents.

I have no idea what your workout looks like because all you did was list bodyparts. You though would do better on a full body plan like "all pros beginner routine" and a good diet. The jogging is good for your heart, I guess, but essentially nothing else. Its a good diet that will have you shedding pounds.
