I plan on taking a break off all supps including my slin sane v2 which I have used continuously for ~6 months now. Should I be a bit weary of carb intake in the beginning or is my body's ability to utilize carbs back to wear it was before supplementation ? Talking more in terms if body composition here. Thanks for input and reps!

I dont know. insulin mimetics supposed help carbs, be stored into the muscle better, for less fat ,and better for protein syntheses I think? , lower blood sugar levels. I used to take them and my favorite by far is glycobol mainly for na-r-ala it contains, which is a potent antioxidant.
Google alpha lipoic acid on youtube videos and how doctors promote it for anti-oxidant, anti aging, and great health. well na-r-ala is much more powerful than r-ala and ala. check out glycobol http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ai/glycobol.htmlDisclaimer: The above post is my personal opinion and does not represent the official position of any company or entity. They actually help carbs be absorbed into both muscle + fat cells better :P The idea is that with proper training, your muscles hopefully uptake more of the glycogen than the fat cells do. At least that how I understand it since GDA's generally help shuttle the carbs without actual need for insulin/as much insulin. Then there's all the different GDA ingredients with some mimicking insulin, others increasing insulin receptors, some combining both and other things.

I don't understand. You mention that you don't know, that's fine but then why even bother posting. Oh so you could push your companies product, smoove bro.
Yeah it isn't a true GDA per say but it does have blood sugar lowering properties and helps to decrease gluconeogenesis. I would think prolonged use of GCBE would be fine however.Kush & OJ

I have recently stumbled upon a few myoselective GDAs, and you can expect a product in the near future. Until then, megadose TUDCA for some muscle-selective glucose shuttling:

Unless you are diabetic or have very low insulin sensitivity, you should not be worried about your bodies ability to 'utilize carbs', especially if you are weight training regularly.
GDA's have their place but most people over use them and have a limited understanding on how they actually work. Certain GDA's work via different mechanisms as well, and using them post workout isn't always the best idea. It's not as simple as just taking glucose disposal agents and then being able to eat a bunch of carbs with all of it being magically shuttled to your muscle cells. Some of you need to stop wasting your money and do some extensive research.Best raw lifts: 670/480/675 | http://www.youtube.com/user/invain622002 | IG: NsattPL
