The "progression" in 5/3/1 has nothing to do with the rate that your lifts actually progress at. Yours could improve faster by a lot, if you set the program up correctly for yourself kinda deal.

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Back when only the super geeks even knew what the internet was and nobody had access to it...I had an uncle who kept playboys under his bathroom cabinet and every time we went to his house (about once per year) I would always find a way to sneak a couple home with me. Aside from that it was my mom's Victoria's Secret catalogs and my imagination.

Yes, exactly.
Realistically you won't be adding 300lbs to your total in a year unless you're new to lifting. But that aside, the progress you make is hard to judge. It could be slow or quick, that really depends on you. If you can keep hitting rep PRs every week then you're gonna have improved.
People respond differently. Something I always heard was that 5/3/1 wasn't really good for your bench. Now, I do 80% for 4x4 paused after OHP but that and the main bench day has really helped my bench. Obviously hard to say if it's entirely the training or other factors but let's assume it contributed a good amount to it.202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.

Oh wow that makes so much sense its almost stupid. I had no idea that sumo is not a good position for addductors to work, I figured that why I should be good at sumo. Ive been aware for awhile that my adductors are what power me out of the hole, its pretty obvious as my inner thigh makes up 60% of my leg mass and is bigger then the quad group of muscles(on me). Thats why I flip my legs in because its switching from adductor to quad group to finish the movement(in squat).
Care to elaborate further on why adductors are limited at the bottom/beggining of a sumo pull? This is very interesting. My Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149612633

330x2 @ 9.2 on paused bench tonight, pretty sure that's a PR. Hit 275 for a double on incline after that. Thinking about chest trampolining 405 once my intensity block starts...what does the Fam think? I've hit 405 off a 2-board recently.

Best total @ 220: 1603 @ 219.6 - 578/402/622 wraps; 1504 @ 206 - 529/363/611 sleeves
