I have had my GPR378 for about a year or so. I figured it was past time to get a set of dip bars made. I put these together fast as I am starting a new job on Monday and have other things I should be doing.
I looked at other dip bar designs and appreciate others sharing their reviews, they helped me choose this design as the one I would try. I have some flat black and some plastic end caps to finish them off. Some foam tube grips will be found too. One thing that might not be apparent is there are actually many hand positions. There is the standard dip position, but very wide dips can be done by placing my hands on the 2x2 part and pushing my elbows to the side. This works well as long as I am aware of the front pullup bar. I also used 1 1/4" pins instead of the 1 3/16" pins size that I used when I built my J-hooks.
