Hey peeps,
I am really frustrated. I have been training really hardcore for 6-8 weeks now and I have not lost a single kg or pound. I can see some definition in my arms but no real weight loss or belly fat loss.
Background :
Always had a belly since I was 9 years old. Lowest bf I have had when I was 18 was 16%. My PT tells me I around 22% now ( i am 26 years old now).
I started on Kris G's plan but realised that I was taking in too much carbs, so stopped taking carbs and went to paleo diet for 4 weeks, and still no drop.
My workout :
45 mins cardio everyday. 20 minutes before doing weights and 20 minutes after.
Include interval training 2-3 days a week (20 mins max).
I go to the gym minimum 4 days a week.
I do weight training 2 days upper body and 2 days lower body.
I usually in the gym for almost 2 hours each time.
Diet
Morning - Oats 1/2 cup with water
snack - whey protein
Lunch - chicken breast (150-200g), spinach or 6 pc sushi or chicken breast + 1 cup veges
snack - whey protein + (banana or oats)
Dinner - chicken breast (150-200g), or tuna + veges (broccoli or green beans 1 cup)
once a week I have coffee with trim milk.
I don't take sugar at all, and only diary is from whey protein and that 1 cup of trim milk in my coffee.
I have been doing this for 6-8 weeks with no a single kg dropped. I am really desperate to lose this body as I have tried this previously for past 3 times in 3 years and never completed it due to similar problems. Any suggestions?
Also no matter how hard I try my chest muscles just won't grow (as you can see in the photo)
I have attached my photo, if that helps.

Cut the cardio to three intense workouts a week. Vary up your protein source more. And consume no more than 130 grams of protein per day at your weight. Eat fruits like dark grapes and oranges/satsumas. Theyre awesome for aiding the breakdown of fat stores.
And train with intensity shake the body up. Get serious. And the fat will melt away.

its your diet.
Eat balanced meals, balanced meals, not a bunch of shakes.
If you ate the lunch meal 5 times per day you would get results."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Just a moment what makes your ADVICE better than mine? Yours is an opinion, from experience. As is mine. He can try both and judge for himself. This isnt a dictatorship you know. Or is it????
I will only offer advice from what has worked for me personally. Not something I read somewhere. So youre a lean man 150 odd pounds. Or have a super fast metabolism. At 20 years old. So you know better. Show me a young man with a six pack not impressed.
Show me a 50 plus year old man, now youre talking. Im on the way down. But I Have a wealth of experience at what has worked consistently for me.
Is it carved in stone for everyone? Of course not. But it may work for someone else. Understand?Last edited by sentinel3; 10-13-2013 at 11:13 PM.
