    is keto right for me?

I have been doing keto (tkd)solid since july, i got down to 160 and began bulking about 2 weeks ago, I have been increasing 500 cal a week and im up to 3200, and I am still losing weight. I had my first carb up this last weekend about 6500 cal each day, gained a bit of weight, but lost it, I am about 162 now, I am extremly active, Iam doing Skd + Ckd now, and am just wondering if i should be eating more carbs on my tkd, (I am eating 30g before and 20 after 3days a week for weights and 30g on cardio days in between weight days with no post workout carbs.
should i just eat more calories? Im going to get to 4000 a day and see how that goes for me, to be fair i have only been increasing calories for 2 weeks now.
maybe keto is not for me, and i should choose a higher carb diet? (i'd really rather not, but i'd rather do that than decrease my activity level)

activity recap (since i started bulking, about 2 weeks now)- work 40-50hrs a week (painting\paint prep, sanding ect)
calisthenics (pushups pullups, inv rows, bodyweight squats) everyday
    weights 3 times a week
bike ride 20-45 min every day
cardio 30 min bike-intervals 1 min hard, 3 min low intesity 3 days a week
sprinting intervals 2 days a week ( not on weight days) _ 1 min hard 3 min low intesity x 4 (2 weeks now)
football 2 days a week ( just pass routes 50 - 75% speed, pitch and catch, no hitting or pads)
plyometrics 2 days a week (2 weeks now)
speed skating once a week ( 1min hard 3 min ow intesity x6-8 reps) (2weeks now)
gonna start playing hockey again probably once a week (pads, no hit league)

Give it time. Bulking too fast just means your putting fat back on. 160 to 162 in 2 weeks is pretty fast.

...or something like this daily. Problem? ;)

    1) i guess im not really losing weight, you have a good point. I just see the scale go down way more than it goes up, I wouldnt be surprised if i was 161 tommorow. I was 166 one day and it dropped to 161 the next, then back up to 162.

    2) is a CKD+tkd apropriate for someone as active as i am? (I am not noticing any lack in my workout performance, speed, strength, endurance ect)

    1. Use an app such as TrueWeight or MyWeight, to monitor your rolling average.

*sigh* Iv'e been trying to deny this to myself... I am sad now.

So what would happen if just kept gradually increasing calories? How much muscle can one realistically build while restricting calories

Cut whatever cardio you can, it's counterproductive for bulking. If you're set on bulking with keto, I would utilize both TKD and CKD (with refeed days being on the lower end for carbohydrate recommendations; 8g/kg lbm).

i know first hand it takes alot more cals to bulk on keto. For example when i bulk on carbs im at 3600 to 3700. i have steadily gained on keto at 4500 cals a day with a 12 hr carb up where i eat the same amount of cals but i eat 781 carbs and protein fat are like 16 percent on the ratio chart. stick with it the gains will come and when they come they are lean non bloated gains. Fat is more powerful than carbs. take baby steps work your way up. you will perfect it trust me. my offseason program is keto and my contest prep is keto and because of keto im killing it in may on stage
