Regardless of who the child was, who his father was, etc...the sad fact is that a 2 year old innocent child died at the hands of an inhuman "person" that deserves nothing less than the same fate. As a Dad, it seriously saddens me to see stories like this one.

Whenever I hear news like this, I always think why? It's such a senseless crime. Hurr Durr Death Penalty doesn't answer anything, although he totally deserves it. But a discussion of why acts like these happen in the first place is a good starting point to preventing it.
