    Not wanting to use Supplements

I have been lifting now for about 3 months consistently. Haven't seen the physical changes yet that I want to see but I know that is because I haven't gotten my diet down. I am wanting to know if I can reach my macros with just using whole foods alone and not using Protein Powders? Money is a bit tight with me having 2 kids as well as feeling bloated after taking Protein powders. At the most I would want to use maybe a Protein bar as a snack or something like that. If this can be done would you mind giving me an example of what the meal plan would look like? Thanks to any and all for information given.

Simple enough. Eat food to meet your calories/macros/micros.

Protein powders and bars are just processed fast foods. You don't have to consume that type of processed fast food, or any other type of processed fast food, to get in shape.

Of course you can reach your macros with just food, but actually whey protein supplements are usually cheaper than foods with same amount of protein.

Nothing magical about protein powder. If you can hit your macros without then you're in good shape

I started buying isolate a few months ago and noticed the bloating and gas went away. It gets rid of all the lactose and has a higher concentrate of protein. It's a little more expensive than whey concentrate but ounce for ounce still much cheaper than meat or eggs.
