I'm trying to cut this extra weight off so I can start my bulk, but I need to know if I'm over training based on this routine. I'm mainly doing 3x5 on big muscle groups like chest/back/legs/shoulders and 3x8 on tri/bi/traps/delts. Surprisingly I am gaining strength on compound excercises, but not expecting it to last as I'm getting leaner.
Day 1: Chest/tris
Day 2: Back/Bis
Day 3: Legs/shoulders
Day 4: rest
Day 5: Chest/tris
Day 6: Back/bis
Day 7 : Shoulders/legs
Day 8 : rest/refeed
Day 9: repeat...
