We have a new baby in our house, so I am getting a shot for the first time. My wife says I sound like a tin foil, but it seems like they do more harm than good.
brb never get the flu
brb people get sick sometimes after getting the shot
brb vaccines creating super viruses

I'm for it up to a certain extent. Aren't there standard flu shots and then new ones that come up? If I remember correctly I think there ARE standard flu shots, if so, I'm okay with those. Other than that, no thanks jeff, would rather get sick, risk dying and hopefully profit by building up my immune system.
edit: ^ that. How does that happen? I see that so much. My friends with babies post on FB "brb baby's first visit to doctors office for flu shot lelelel" then next thing you know a month later "oh no baby sick, back to doctors office" am i too many paranoia?

How you gonna rip it like that son? I don't play that, cause its action, I go... pat, pat, pat 'cause i'm black son! That's right, i'm the black sheep, the real black sheep. I'm the black sheep, the real black sheep. I'm the black sheep, the real black sheep.

Went through this same sht when we first had a kid man. Don't buy into it. You don't need one.
Also, I recommend you space out the baby's vaccinations as much as possible. If you follow the state schedule, they'll be giving this poor fuking infant like 7+ different vaccinations in one trip on several different occasions. Try to keep it to like 3 per trip tops even though it means more trips to the Dr.THINK FOR YOURSELF, QUESTION AUTHORITY!

My opinion: no thanks jeff. I don't trust the content of these shots, more specifically its' possible effects. Most of the time only old people and young kids can get in trouble from getting the flu anyway so I don't really see the point.

I never get it, not because of any concern about the shot, just because I never think about it. I have only gotten the flu one time, I got the "swine flu", but I don't know if a regular flu shot would have done anything for that. Had that chit for a week and by the time I went to see the doctor they just said I had to ride it out because it was too late to treat it.
PM me child support questions, will answer/help if I can..

Oh good lord please don't tell me the misc is full of anti-vaxxers.
Misc pls.
And to OP: if you're young and healthy, probably not necessary. But not because it causes fukkin autism or makes you chit gravy. Vaccination is a very, very, very good thing and we're lucky to have it.
Measles. Not even once.

I haven't had a flu shot or any other vaccination in probably 25 years. I rarely get sick and when I do it's just a slight sore throat or headache that lasts only a day.
Schools push that sh*t because they get kickbacks on every vaccine. That's the ONLY reason.
Eat right, stay away from processed foods and you and your family will be just fine.

Just get the flu shot, all of the conspiracy chit you hear isnt true. Mom is a nurse and says all the cases of the flu she see's are people that don't get the shot. I've been getting the flu shot my whole life and I get sick like once every 3 years.

Nobody in my family has had the shot, none of us have ever had the flu. Family of 6. My kids won't get it either. GF and her entire family of 4 have never gotten the shot, and never gotten the flu.
