Most affordable source for protein supplementation?

I was wondering if there is a more affordable resource for whey protein other than my local vitamin shop? ($45 for a 5 pound bucket).

There's a pretty well known website that sells supplements.
Usually has pretty good deals going on too.

One thing to consider is that 0.6 grams to 0.8 grams of total protein intake per pound of bodyweight is (more than) sufficient to optimize muscle gain/retention and, thus, you're probably already getting more than enough protein from the foods you consume.

The notion of extremely high protein intake being beneficial, let alone essential, to muscle development is largely just a marketing ploy by supplement companies to induce folks to buy protein supplements.

I guess when you're the size of a chihuahua, like you, it's easy to get all the protein you need.

I thought this forum was for serious discussion...yet it always turns into a brotard fest.

You're asking where to find supplements cheaper than your local store, on a supplement website. Can't be more serious.

    I like eggs, chicken, beef.
I'm not a fan of seafood.
I eat a lot of peanut butter too.
    And beans.

Most of those are cheaper than powdered food.

As for where to get powdered food? I have no idea.
    Really?

Order online from here or simply don't buy whey and substitute with egg whites. Cheaper.

You do realize that their is a 6 inch difference in height between us, as well as age, bone density, and overall structural size don't you?
I just simply stated the food sources that I consume that are cheap, and you could consume to easilly hit 150g protein.
If your looking for a protein powder, shoot for Dymatize Elite XT. $.50 per 21g serving.
