Is this real life??? This amount of bro-science is not only frustrating I believe it is irresponsible for a person in Marc's position to make such ridiculous claims as I.F. causing eating disorders.

Anything can cause an ES. I’d say IIFYM has given me a ES I weigh everything, srs i have a digital scale at my parents house, my house, at my work and at my in-laws house. I track my macros to the gram I suck @ guesstimating but I still think it’s a ES while some of my mates don’t weigh 5hit and they have better physiques then me.

No IF does NOT cause eating disorders any more than eating 6 or 8 or 10 meals a day causes eating disorders...the gray matter between your ears is what causes eating disorders not the timing of your meals...stop looking for excuses ...also the part where the morons in the vid state that no top bodybuilders come in shape on stage using IF or IIFYM is totally bogus...even Dorian Yates would eat chocolate bars pre-contest and counted them to wards his macros...Marc Lobliner stick to selling naive kids BCAAs brah!!

I can too. That being said, I can see how almost any diet can result in an ED.
FWIW, @2:12 Marc used the term "binge and purge" and what is important is that IF may encourage binging, I have never seen any legitimate proponent of IF suggest that you should also purge. The act of purging is what is problematic, as it would be regardless of the diet followed.

Holy crap, overthinking itt. Any diet can INDIRECTLY cause an ED, including IF, 6meals a day bro diets, or just fitting food into your macros. The way someone approaches their eating habbits in their life daily is what would or wouldn't cause an ED. I'm willing to bet there's a lot of bro dieters who exhibit less ED symptoms than "flexible dieters" just like I'm willing to bet the same is true on the opposite end.

people avoiding eating out because it isn't in their meal window, avoiding doing things during they fasted window to avoid looking at food, setting clocks to fast correctly 16h, believing carbs are evil, eating almost no carbs off days because martin said so, expecting to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time because martin said so, working out fasted to burn more fat, etc etc etc...
please, just go and read IF groups, just search IF on Instagra, even the IF thread here...and then you back here*Hollywood's rabid cage crew*

In my experience IF lead me to be unsatisfied with meals, and thinking of food both during my fast and during my eating window. I decided just to eat when I was hungry or think about eating to avoid any type of "binge" I guess you could say. It also came into problems occasionally on weekends if I was doing things with my family because I would end up with +200 carbs and +100 protein to hit in nearly 3 hours before the end of my eating window. IMO if your having a problem being satiated when bulking with 4 meals a day, then you should revaluate your diet approaches. Although I have an unendless hunger, I don't think it's healthy being used to eating that large of meals in such a short period of time.

The sad truth is that many fitness enthusiasts have replaced common sense with guru worship, yielding nothing less than neurotic behaviors that serve only to diminish the quality of life and the probability of not only reaching one's fitness goals but maintaining a high level of fitness and health.
It's truly sad.

I have never been caught up in the dogma of IF, the dogma of bro dieting, and limited options of keto.
I took a few chunks of IF principles and applied them as they work for me. I don't get to wear a T-shirt that says I'm in a club though, fuq that anyway they are never long enough, belly button always hanging out.The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl
