They're not ready yet. They're going to need another ten years of building the program with their current coaching staff before they can run with the big dogs. Not being negative; just realistic, based on following them for a long time. They're light years ahead of where they were 5 years ago.

Will, I'm very happy to see you becoming a moderator around here, congratulations!
P.S.: Just saw that your Dips moved up to 50lbs, did you increase the weight a long time ago and I missed it? Well done!First log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=163553231

Hey Ron, thanks! That 5 added pounds felt like a '56 Buick. I was lucky to get 5 reps.
Call me anything you want as long as it's not late to dinner.
Thanks, Ryan. I'm going to do my best.
Thanks. I'm assigned to the 'nutrition,' exercises,' and 'workout programs' forums--- those in which I most often regularly post (other than the journals).
So if you stay out of those three, you should be okay!

LOL. I felt like the time was right for me to stop using the report button, and expecting someone else to do something about the problems I see.
Thanks; I appreciate the comment.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Dave. It's going to take me a while to get my mod feet on the ground, but I hope to make this a better site. There are many really good moderators here (some of the best of them you never "see" working), and I hope to be half as good as them eventually.
Thanks, K. It was a tough day; that 5 pound bump felt like 50.
^^this
Better you then me........
Seriously, would not want the job.No brain, no gain.

Well whisper it softly, but maybe, just maybe, there is going to be some sanity round here soon... Congrats Bill - they couldn't have picked a more sensible chap. I'm sure it will be hard work, but then no-one could doubt your application and enthusiasm, so you'll find it a breeze I'm sure.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm going to do my best to make this a better site.
I think the time was right to accept the position. I didn't have too many more copy/pastas to beginners left in me, and it was time to maybe give back something to the site.

Thanks, Hoos! This site has been good to me in it's ability to help keep me motivated, and I feel like it's time to maybe give back a bit.
Thanks, Flounder; I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Ironwill2008 V3.0
Had an overall good session today; didn't quite meet all of my intended goals, but still made a bit of progress nonetheless. Today's training was:
Barbell Lunge
bar x5 W/U
95x3
135x3
185x3
225x3
285x2
225x3 backoff set
285x2 BB Lunge
T-Bar Row PWO
75x10 W/U
160x7 heh-vee
160x6
160x6
Smith Machine Incline Press
95x8 W/U
135x8
165x8
210x8
Worked my way through here in right at an hour. Still didn't quite have enough jam today to get my 3rd rep back on Lunges, but I'll get back there and beyond, in time.
Bumped T-Bars up a dime, and, as predicted, they are now officially, 'work.' IIRC, two years ago when I last had these in my routine, I was doing 6-rep sets @200. Geez, that seems like light years away; I've got some work to do here. They feel really good though, right in the middle of my upper back, with no biceps pump at all. Time to get with the program.
Finally managed to reach 8-across on Inclines, a rep count I've been chasing for months it seems. Not yet gonna bump up the load though, at leat not until I can repeat the reps at least one more week.
That's it for today. A rest day tomorrow, then Friday's schedule has Deadlifts, Curls, and Dips listed.
Post-Workout meal was another of my wife's creations---baked egg 'cups,' the cups made out of shredded potatoes. Very tasty, especially with some bacon, toast, and a glass of cold milk.
No brain, no gain.
