I remember thinking this about ten years ago (before internet)...I think they just sat around figuring out how to fool guys into believing they were 8s when they are really 4s. Women have gotten really good with make up/clothing that hides their flaws.

For a lot of girls they probably don't have hobbies many hobbies outside of social media. Lol. Because usually if they haven't gotten into something as a kid, ie. a sport, painting, singing, they probably won't do it when they're older because if they didn't do it enough as a kid they most likely didn't develop a passion for it and continue it over the years.

Right now the only things I do are: Dance (in a studio), draw (not on that sketchbrah lvl though), and I'm learning guitar. Oh and I game sometimes. But that's couch potato status and shouldn't ever be a hobby unless you're getting paid srsly. And even that's not a lot because I don't do it every day. I used to be into taekwondo and swimming when I was younger as well but I for some reason stopped and just continued with dancing for the most part.
