Its amazing to me how many people on this forum have bashed him, i mean seriously....this guy was and still is in my mind the best ambassador we have for the industry. At his best he was one of the best ever, I dont personally like his physique, never have....but in his prime he was definitely the best. Nothing but respect for big jay.

Why are so many people here obsessed with Jay and his haters? How many people actually hate Jay? I can't think of anyone.
I don't think there's one person on this forum that doesn't respect him or his accomplishments. They may not like his physique or agree with his placings, but this "F*ck all you haters" crap is just so unnecessary.
If anything, people hate his psycho fans, not actually the man himself.Bench: 215x12 (17/12/2011) PR since torn RC

Jay Cutler is the best bodybuilder, negg me if you want BUT
A true great bodybuilder is not just having a great physique as for me but also requires great communication skills, being nice to the people, looking good, keeping the social media updated. I dont care what people will say about physique (he better or he better, whatever) but this guy has been the Marketing face of IFBB Pro Bodybuilding for the last decade (almost), period. Massive Respect to uncle Jay, who was actually the guy who provoced my interest in bodybuilding.Free eBook: http://beatsocialanxiety.net/free-book/

That's what I was thinking.... No one should be hating, it's called giving a opinion based on his showing. It's like Branch always came very well conditioned. But due to injuries, things started to look off balance, etc. Just like with Jay's showing, came in great shape, but it wasn't really that pleasing.US Marine Corps Vet 8 years ( 92/00 ) - Semper Fi - ★cVc★

You're the one acting like a moron ya ****wad. Just because someone looked good once doesn't mean they're suddenly immune from critique afterwards.
I don't give a **** about his life/characteristics outside of what he shows on stage. That's what they judge and that's what matters.People these days have more reps than brain cells

I will always be a part of Team Cutler. Always.
...for what it's worth, I still think he can do some damage if he trains for a whole year, eats for size and then comes back next year."You can always do what you have set your mind to do if you don't allow Fear and Discouragement to stop you. I never liked Jay, prolly never will. Always more drawn to the Levrone, Heath, Dex look...just more appealing to me. Having said that, I still respect him for his accomplishments. Mostly I want to say that it pisses me off when people don't understand that guys get older and cannot keep that condition forever. I will say his 2009 showing was pretty sick.

Been a big fan of Jay since 2006. I ve watched him since 2002 and have many magazine of him. I really got into him when I started watching videos of him.
Looks like he is going back into business more and giving up competing, going by this interview.Disclaimer: The above post is my personal opinion and does not represent the official position of any company or entity. It does not constitute medical advice.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think he's going to be capable of dedicating a whole year to prepping for the O, while Phil, Kai, Shawn Rhoden and Dexter Jackson (along with Ramy, Wolf and many others) will train hard year-round for next year's show.
When it comes right down to it, I just don't think Jay is hungry enough. He's was finally able to beat Ronnie, he lost the Sandow and got it back, and he's a 4 time champion. I just don't think he's got the motivation to do whatever it takes to win the Olympia again.
So like you, I lean towards him not competing next year at the O. Now, 2014 Arnold Classic? Who knows?"You can always do what you have set your mind to do if you don't allow Fear and Discouragement to stop you. People say that Faith is the absence of Fear.
