I got into drinking with the boys when I was young (18-20) because it was legal and the thing to do, but never really enjoyed it. I was basically dry in my mid-late 20s other than birthday/new years.

I do drink now, usually once or twice a week but not to excess. I enjoy the taste (and buzz) of red wine and drink a number of different kind. Other than that it's a social thing, a buddy comes over and its a couple beers in the garage working on something.

But its not a huge volume or getting hammered, get a little glow on to turn the volume down on life for a couple hours watching a movie or listening to music.

I actually like the bitter beers...IPA's and so on. Most people I know aren't very fond of them.
