I'm off to Italy again this year, been to Milan to watch the San Siro derby between AC Milan and Inter Milan, was absolutely sickening.
Fly out to Venice in October for 4 days before hitting up Rome then off to Tallinn, Estonia.
Going to take around £1500 for the 2 week trip, hold me, it's going to be emotional.

Yea, trying not to hop onto the internet much while I'm here but I'm feeling the last week taking its toll on me so I'm just gonna have a quiet night in and rest
Looks like a great city. Haven't got a chance to explore much yet, just did some walking around. Feeling pretty sick so gonna rest it up tonight and hopefully feel better tmrw so I can explore. Probably only going to do the typical tourist attractions this time around

You guys need to learn how the reservation system works in trains: If it's written on the LED over the seat: 'Berlin - Munich', it means that the seat is RESERVED for someone who payed extra to specifically reserve that seat between berlin and munich, so don't sit in it if you didn't reserve it, if you have no reservation, you need to sit where there is nothing displayed on the LED/paper.
If on your reservation it says carriage 7, seat 71 (so are many seats 71, but only one for each carriage, so careful), there are posters on the track with the train schematics, it's where the timestables are normally, but it's directly on the track in the middle, it will show where the carriage 7 is on the track (A-B-C-D system,). For example it will show for Train EC717, that carriage 7 stops near A, so then you can walk and wait near A (there is always a sign showing where 'A' area is), This is important because if you wait on the track near D, and the train comes, you will have to walk all the way through the train with you luggage, to get to your seat on the other side, and it's a pain in the *ss.
Also if you get local transportation tickets, don't forget to validate them. If you ever get in trouble, just play stupid and only speak American English, people automatically assume Americans are retarded .

Some pics from my trip
Amsterdam
Amsterdam was by far my favourite city. Overall the city was just a great experience. It had nice buildings and scenery, calm atmosphere and the people there were great.
Ibiza
I was literally flabbergasted with how beautiful Ibiza was. These pics don't do it justice IMO. I'm gutted I gave away my window seat to a kid cause the view as the plane was flying in was stunning, wish I had the window seat to see it better and take a picture

It was mental.
I did Ushuaia which was 5pm-12am
then headed over to Amnesia right after that, which went on till around 6am
Loved every minute of it, but drinks are expensive as fuk in the clubs. Definitely not a place to be drinking.
Only chit thing is every kunt there is trying to hustle you into buying tickets and chit on the street 24/7

After my trip I've learnt so much things, especially about the pace I like to travel at and also I've got a better idea of planning things out now
Definitely going to do Europe again in 2015, hopefully my application gets accepted to study abroad in the Netherlands for next July - November. If it does my plan is to travel from June to July.
Planning to hit up and spend 4-6 days in each of these cities; Copenhagen, Prague, Budapest and Mykonos.. and also Sweden and Italy but not sure which cities yet. Also hoping to go back to Barcelona and Ibiza as those two cities were awesome but I felt I did not stay for long enough.

Fuark I've got a semester abroad coming up in Krakow. I'll fly or take the bus to there in 2-3 weeks. I still have to arrange accommodation (via real estate agents that have connections to the uni), do you have any tips on which area to stay? I'd like to be close to the nightlife.
What's the best gym in Krakow?
How are the sloots? Is their English good enough to understand when I offer my cawk to them or do I have to communicate this in sign language?
Do you have any other tips?
I'm excited as fuk. Everyone I meet that has been there tells me it's the GOAT city in Poland and one of the best in Eastern Europe. Anyway I'd appreciate if you could answer my questions, thanks in advance brah.

So I've been back for about 6 weeks, was always planning to make a thread with stories, pictures and AMA but CBF.
So cliffs:
-Never really wanted to travel but got inspired by last years thread
-Introvert/Homebody/Semi-FA
-Decided to solo backpack for one month (4 weeks taking out flights to/from Aus)
-Had a really good time but got sick for the last third of my trip which made me write off a couple of days
-Life changing? No. Great experience? Yes.
City Cliffs
Copenhagen:
-hostel was too big, kinda felt 'hotely'
-Hungout with one of the guys in my dorm a few times over my 3 days there doing touristy stuff and watching WC.
-Did a walking 'free' tour (ended up doing this in every city)
-Hotdogs are tasty here
Berlin:
-Loved the city and it's history
-Saw all the major tourist attractions (Checkpoint charlie/ The wall/ Brandenberg gate etc)
-Hostel was better, one of the nights I just started talking to a couple of randoms in my dorm and we went out that night, one was a Brazilian HBB who I imagined my life with everytime we made eye contact. She had to leave that night though for an overnight train.
Prague:
-Had to run through the station in Berlin to catch the train
-Hostel here was my favorite of the trip
-Took you out every night and group dinners
-One night pretty sure I met some Euro pornstar (Google Nella + porn) tried to get a picture with her for lolz but she said no (politely, at first she thought I wanted her to take my picture)
-Saw the castle which was cool but didnt end up getting to the bone church, tried with a group of Americans I met but we missed two trains and then tried to drive there but with delayed GPS just kept getting lost
-Went to 5 story night club with said americans that night but it wasn't great.
Krakow:
-Hostel was good again (social, clean etc)
-Did the salt mines which weren't great and felt a little bit like a school excursion
-Went to Auschwitz and didnt realize how big it was, alot of people described it as confronting.
-Met some cool English guys to hang out with and then Irish guys who I'd hang out with later in Budapest
Budapest:
-Went sparty first night, sausagefest and really hard to go to something like that when you dont really know anyone but did see and hang out a little with some people I'd met previously in Krakow and Prague.
-Stayed at Grandio, Party hostel, was a dump
-Did a trap room with the Irish guys I'd met previously in Krakow
-Watched WC (Brazil hammered) at some giant open screening in the city center
-Started to get sick here, cough/cold and last two days I moved hostels and pretty much laid low though I ended up sharing a cab at like 5am with some Belgian guy form my hostel for my cheapo (ryanair) flight to Barca.
Barca:
-Pretty sick for first couple of days
-Thought my roomates (3 people dorm) were going to be dickheads cause they kept calling each other n!gga but were some kind of latino.
-Ended up being really fun guys (were four of them all together) and hung out with them til they left
-Went to shoko which is one of three clubs on the beach (the free one)
-We also went to Razzmatazz and that club is kinda ****ed up (Dominatrix and midget at door who whip you when you enter, weird stage shows with midgets, muscle women, a man fukin a giant X cross and old ladies getting naked, actually all of them got varying degrees naked)
-We also went to camp nou
-Walked to beach but it was really far (like 1 1/2 hours of walking there and back) but topless HBB's around, saw some dick and scrotum though so if thats your thing you can see that aswell.
-Only saw the outside of Sagrada Familia cause of the huge line, walked las ramblas
-Had homemade paella at the hostel
Amsterdam
-Last city
-Hostels weren't great for meeting people
-First night I just checked out the RLD (Surprised at how ugly some hookers were and how hnnnng some others were)
-Second night went on a pub crawl with one of my roommates, was pretty good
-Last night was going to go see a sex show but it was like 40 Euro and seeing as hookers were 50 didnt feel like it was worth it
-Couldn't bring myself to smash a hooker, I've never paid for it and I know would have felt kinda disgust if I had, one 8.9/10 did open her door and growl at me when I passed, would have chosen her if I did.
-Kinda wish I had now but that will pass after I fap
-Went van gogh museum which was worth it and great for presents
-Still sick/seediness/okay hostels/not into weed or hookers meant I didnt enjoy Amsterdam that much
-Ate crepes
And that was my trip
Other random stuff:
-Flew the same flight as MH17 (Malaysian Airlines: Amsterdam - K.L.) two days after it happened. There was a 1% chance I could have been on MH17 cause I set two days spare for Cinque Terra, which I didnt end up doing, and actually thought about coming home a couple days earlier instead.
-Hostel girls were pretty average throughout the trip but for some reason alot hotter in Barcelona
-Not a fan of Frat boys
-Got lost pretty much every night in every city finding my way back to the hostel
-Lost like 8kg in a month, couldnt eat enough cause I'm not really a big eater and being sick didnt help
-Aussies everywhere so accent isn't a big advantage
-Prague, Krakow and Budapest there were these three Aussies travelling together who booked the exact same dates and hostels as me. Ended up being a little bit of a 'crutch' I could fall back on if I was struggling with the solo backpacker thing and did a couple of times.
TLR
-Introvert went solo backpacking for a month
-Had a good time
-Read the extended cliffs
Happy to answer questions or tell a story or two.Misc Cologne Crew
