my best front squat is 605 but that was at almost 300lb BW. recently I've cut a ton of weight and am down to 235. I hit an easy 550 front squat after hitting a 675 back squat. I cycled front squats in for a four week cycle. the next time I cycle them in I will shoot to beat that 605.
I have a problem with the bar digging into my carotid artery and losing oxygen to my brain. in the below video I black out after racking it. part of the game I guess.

455 belt only front. Depth wasn't that good. I did this after several work sets of safety bar squats and 3 sets of fronts, so I think I'm good for 10-15lbs more fresh.

I just look at it like overload training, which I do frequently for most movements. I wouldn't normally bother on front squats but I'm focusing on them for a while right now. Basically I just prepared my cns for an unwrapped attempt in a couple weeks, and also just got to feel 500 on my delts which actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Do you guys have any tips for avoiding passing out/feeling crappy while front squatting due to bar placement? Has that ever been a problem for anyone, or is it just a matter of moving where you shelf it around until it feels right?
