as for me im not sure why its so difficult for some people I have 30k in student loans and plan to pay it back in 5 years. based on an income of at least 30k per year

Its called making sacrifices, and not using credit card and geting into mortgages and buying fancy cars before you can actually afford to do so. Save 10% of your income because the day will come when you need it. and try and make money on the side. I plan to live in a bachelor for those 5 years and not have any kids.

The only thing that will tip my my plan way off schedule is if i get married dat der 10-20k wedding. But given that she works we should be able to budget it over time, and she better not be holding some big azz 40K in student loans for studying art or psychology and be expecting me to pay it off cause she cant find a job.

Yes and no. I have 6 figure student loan debt but make good money. It keeps me from buying a house, having an early family, and rocking a new M3... but it doesn't keep me from living life.
