Biker Arrested in Dispute With NYC Family That Set Off Beating
A biker has been arrested in the dispute with a Manhattan family that set off a chase and ended with the dad getting attacked and beaten by several other bikers.
The motorcyclist charged Tuesday was the one who allegedly slowed down in front of the Range Rover carrying the dad, his wife and his toddler on the West Side Highway Sunday. The biker ended up being run over by the SUV trying to flee, and his leg was broken.
A group of bikers later caught up with the family and bashed in the driver's side window before pulling the dad out of the car and beating him.
Part of the ride and fight were captured on video.
Police are still searching for the others involved in the attack.
The man arrested is charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
The bikers were in town for an event called Hollywood Stuntz, where motorcyclists drive around Manhattan doing tricks, according to officials.
Thank Goodness. Hopefully more arrests to come.
UPDATE 2: A guy in NY has posted a vid of the bikers in the city just before this incident occurred:
*Shot from the 30th Floor of a high rise at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue in New York City.
This location is south of where the SUV ran over the bikers. Filmed minutes before the pack of bikers turned onto the West Side Highway where the incident took place. The audio doesn't do justice to how loud these guys where. Upon viewing the street from my deck the pack of motorcycles was cruising down the street the wrong way in traffic. They held up multiple traffic lights as they blew through them en mass. They were obviously taunting drivers and didn't have any regard for traffic laws.*

There are tons of vids like this from NYC. these people have no respect for the law. If the police cannot enforce the law, then citizens will have to continue to take matters into their own hands.Last edited by LukeLissen; 10-01-2013 at 09:15 PM.
