4x Mr.O... What else does he need to prove? I felt like the only reason he did 2013 was to please the fans.

He doesn't look THAT BAD in those pictures. He's not getting blown off the stage or anything like that.

    Agreed

He still has the potential, and at the end of the show I still said damn Jay looks sick, even if he's not his best…. He's not far off and can be at the top again with much more time, and no injuries ! He did damn well, and and he deserves a ton of respect. An up front, real, great dude !

Doesn't look THAT bad, my point was that it looked like it was an injury and we all know from Ronnie what happens when your body gets injured like that.

All I'm saying is I'd like to see what he looks like with a whole year to eat, train and get some therapy. I heard him say he only trained like 10 weeks for this show. That's all.

We all know he's not going to beat Phil (neither is Kai). So, yeah.

He trained for nearly a year, but he was travelling so much that his diet and training were not up to par. From June he went on lockdown, ie no more travelling, all meals in, and did a ten week diet.

That makes a lot more sense. The commentator(s) made it sound like he started 10 weeks ago from scratch.

What I do like and respect very much is how he handled getting 6th onstage when Bob C. handed him the mic. All class, not even a shred of attitude, just nothing but respect and gratefulness to be where he is. That's a champ.

If you hear his interview for MD after prejudging ( he was eating in a car talking about it) he acknowledged that he was in around 6th place and said even at his best condition (with current muscle mass, lat probs etc as they are) 4th would have been best he could manage. He then went on to praise the top guys.

Aside from being a class act it shows how in tune with the judging (whether we agree or not) the top guys are. Ronnie and Jay both picked the top 5/6 spot on and last I checked neither has a Muscletech contract or anything the conspiracy theorists could latch onto.

And Dex has never truly been the top dog in the sport. Even in 08 he was an underdog and the rest of his careeer has been in the top 6 but not contending for a win at the O. Jay was top 2 for a decade. That's going to make their outlooks on a 5th or 6th place finish a bit different.. also jay doesn't need the money for retirement like Dex does. Right now dex is trying to set a retirement fund for himself.

In my opinion Jay did extremely well just to be at the 2013 Olympia and came in with very good conditioning I think if he can stay injury free and put back on some of his mass I think he has a shot at 3rd I can't really see anyone beating kai and Phil but 3rd is definitely up for grabs I could see Shawn Rhoden, Dennis wolf,Jay Cutler all competing for third even big Remy if he comes in well conditioned. Regardless of placing I think alot of people don't realise he started because he loves it and if he still loves it why stop? even though I'm not a massive Jay fan I would be disappointed not to see him at the Olympia
