Hi everyone and thanks in advance for taking time to look and answer my post.
I have already searched the forum and checked out the stickies but can't really find what I'm looking for.
I am trying to compile a list of the "must do exercises" basically the ones that are the most effective for gains and strength.
For instance say if you could only ever do 10 exercises for the rest of your life which ones would they be?
I would appreciate responses for all different levels of weightlifters for a bit of variety.

If you're at a level where you think a "top ten favorite exercise" list is useful to your program, you'll make better progress using one of the routines from this list, that already have lifting parameters laid out for you (exercises, frequency, intensity, start weight, deload, etc...): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=151032123
The thousands of these that are here already:
... are easily searchable (and not of much use beyond the first few)

Hit your compounds then blast any non fatigued muscles with some ISO.
every time your compounds aren't enough to work everything, you need to look back at form or consider adding/replacing some movements.
Or, if you really enjoy time in the gym you can be content with hitting auxiliary ISO movements every workout.Follow my quest for 100,000 pull ups this year
