Kai had to settle for 2nd as soon as he turned around. The commentators said he had some water on his back. That was all it took, planted a seed with the judges and face it...Phil is almost never off in condition at the O (Arnold he was once). So as they went through comparisons all eyes looked for that water on Kai. It was pretty much gone before the night ended...but damage done.
Phil prob got straight 1sts and Kai 2nds so tomorrow I doubt Kai can make up ground unless Phil has a big issue and comes in looking like Pulmbo. And due to the mention of water and a much improved Wolf. Kai may not of gotten straight 2nds and it very well could be a tie coming in to tonight between Kai and Wolf for 2nd. Earlier during the stream I said 2- Kai/Wolf...and it may be just that. Wolf improved or atlast showed his improvements so much he may push Kai to 3rd by a few points.
Im a fan of Phil, Kai, Wolf and other I dont have 1 guy who I always feel gets robbed. So to me this night show could be shocking in places 2-5.

Phil clearly wins. Kai has some bigger body parts, but those body parts are not as defined and separated. Even then the size difference is only slightly. When I look at bodybuilding I think of an anatomy chart. How many muscles, muscle insertions, etc can i see and count. Clearly I can see and count more on phil's back, side and front. Then I go onto who is most pleasing to the eye. Kai is a great bodybuilder but his proportions are funky. The man has the smallest traps in some poses compared to everyone on stage. His upper body is just a big chunk of muscle its impressive but no real defining insertions just round, although his waist is tight there is really no defined taper. Just lats to hips. Impressive but not pleasing. Also Kai's forearms do not match is upper arms. Kai just does not have the build to be pleasing to the eye, He just looks out of place, impressive but out of place

Kai was off. Being "bigger" doesn't mean he should win. So big, so dominant, so off. If he was on last year and didn't win, why would he win this year just because he is big? Big, dominant, wide, off.
Spike92 is 15.

How? Lets put big Ramy up near the top spots because he was big but not sharp. Lionel Beyeke is sharper this year than his previous showings so he will likely have his best placing yet. Roelly Winklaar. Conditioning counts. A whole damn lot. Lest I forget Dennis Wolf. Is he at his biggest? I dunno, but this is likely his best showing ever. Because he's in condition.
Bias seems to throw all logical argument out the window. Potato vision goggles on gentleman, its Olympia time! Why would a guy who is off be given the Mr.Olympia title because he is big this year? Come on.Spike92 is 15.

Because condition is just one aspect of bodybuilding. The importance that you all place on it suggests that an anorexic, 90lb teenager could win the O because he is the most conditioned. It's ridiculous!
What happened to the good old days when bodybuilding was still about muscle?
Phil is a little bit sharper than Kai, but Kai is bigger. The two should, at the very least, off set one another.Bench: 215x12 (17/12/2011) PR since torn RC

you really fail here, and i hope you realize that lol. the photo was taken at a 1.8 degree angle off 0.. when you readjust it you get..
jay and phil are both what, 5'9"? well, here, once the photo is straightened up, their heights are the same.. nothing was "skewed", the photo was taken with the camera tiltedi do not endorse rep trading on forums.

Camera tilted? Okay. Now take into account that the photo also taken on an angle that staggers not only their distance, but their perspective. Anybody with two working eyes can see that even the slight angular view makes it appear as if Phil is in front, Kai is slightly behind, and Jay further behind again.
Here's a photo taken front and center leaving all of their heights the same, and therefore the perspectives largely the same:
You my friend, are as dense as your counterpart.

Might as well post it here.
I will say this, after seeing the HQ pictures, Kai was indeed off, Phil was too but...Kai's trademark hamstrings/calves are not there, his glutes are quite soft.
Phil's glutes and hamstrings are in but the size difference is big between him and Kai.
I'm not sure whom to lean towards to...
If I were asked ; "Who had the best physique on stage that night?"
I don't want to quote the pictures in the OP so it doesn't take so much space.
Front Relaxed: Kai - Wider, better taper and legs
Rear Relaxed: Phil - Much more detail in the bottom half, Kai is wider but, Phil's glutes and hamstrings show too much of a difference compared to Kai's.
FDB: Kai - The conditioning is arguably the same, so in terms of size, Kai takes it, too massive.
Side Relaxed: Kai - Phil seems to have lost a lot of vascularity and he, oddly, looks softer than Kai in that particular shot, not to mention, Kai's legs (especially glutes and hamstrings) from the side are quite hard to deal with.
RLS: Tie (but I tend to lean more towards Phil) ; Phil's glutes and hamstrings show much more detail than Kai's but at the same time, Kai's lats are just plain ridiculous. But I must lean towards Phil for this one.
BDB: Kai ; Kai's back is better, more detailed, thicker and wider but not as detailed as last year and although his glutes and hamstrings seem to be more ''on'' than earlier in the pre-judging, they aren't as dry as Phil's but still enough to take it.
Side Chest: Kai - Could have been a tie since Kai's conditioning is quite off but I still believe his thickness edges him out.
Conclusion ; Kai has the edge but it can easily be considered a tie.
Kai's off but not enough to be put in 2nd place right away. Phil seems to have progressed, brought his neck down, posing is better, same posing trunks as 2011 because the colour suits his best showing.
But still, their conditioning is comparable in some shots but Kai is much more massive, giving him the edge.
