So I got demoted to Lake Erie in LFL. Playing with Paul Stastny and Hejduk. Just played against the Grand Rapids Griffins and Zetterberg is on the team.
What the fck is going on here? Led the Avs in points through 5 games, demoted and now I'm playing with other NHLers that got the shaft for being good also.
Edit: NHL continuing their anti Blues ways with retarded penalties. Let's call a high sticking penalty from center ice when no contact was even made.
Edit 2: Just heard Halak hasn't given up and even strength goal since opening night, let's keep it up brah.Last edited by cadetduke; 10-12-2013 at 06:25 PM.

I already got the over in the Pens game, just need them to hold on.
As editing this Blues score awww yeah, have the over though, need 1 to push, 2 more to hit.
ATM Toronto could be my only loss, have them in a two team parlay with the Bruins.
Wife staying at her moms since her dad is in a 2-day fishing tourney, whole house to myself.
Edit: Hawks need to put this sh!t away. Got 3U on them, my big play of the night. And with uverse I can't even watch the damn game.Last edited by cadetduke; 10-12-2013 at 06:36 PM.

Tarasenko going to be so good some day, has that vision and desire to score. That concussion screwed up his whole season last year. May retire my signed Boyes jersey for his jersey one of these days, I mean I'm still wearing a Boyes jersey for fcks sake.
Edit: lol at the Reaves 10 feet out slapshot instead of a wrist shot.

If it were a closer decision with less things on the opposite side, then the ELC sliding a year might matter more but you're way overemphasising it in this case. That would matter when cap space would be an issue when the guy's ELC expires, which is completely not the case here. As the other guy said, we aren't projected to be tight for cap space when his ELC ends. Also, nowadays there's a trend in the league for fairly reasonable bridge contracts like for Subban and Franson.
Yes, the team is shallow right now in depth all over but there's only much cap space you can possibly use because you can only get so many free agents to willingly sign on a rebuilding team. The prospect pool is looking not bad and a lot of the spots will be filled from within. If the team is looking to really beef up the roster to compete through free agency as soon as 2-3 years from now as you say, it will be due to a bunch of young guys performing well on their ELC's and the cap still won't be even close to an issue. Bottom line, in basically all scenarios him looking for big money after his ELC is not going to hurt the team's salary structure. We don't have a bunch of stars to pay and we aren't going to find a whole bunch at once through trades or free agency overnight. Maybe they're somewhat biased as Canadian broadcasters but I've heard probably like eight out of eight hockey analysts agree this view too.
