    during work outs.

    Hey everyone,

I was thinking, I'm of course drinking water during my workouts and then I rush home to drink my protein shake with a scoop of whey protein. Instead of doing that, would it make sense to just drink my whey protein maybe 15 mins into my workout to start the absorption?

    Make sense or no.

    Thank you!

Please read the sticky threads for a basic understanding of nutrition. You're falling into typical myths of the supplement industry to convince "newbies" to buy their products.
You can consume what you like/when you like.
As long as your meeting your calories/macronutrients well taking into consideration micronutrient needs and overall health effects than you'll achieve results.

Again though, please read the sticky threads.

No need to do any of that.

    You have a pre-workout meal?

No need to rush my friend. Digestion takes 24-72 hours (someone correct me if I'm wrong). If you prefer to achieve your protein goal by drinking whey that's your prerogative. However not essential. So you'll be just fine.
