Technically speaking. No. As someone else said, it can spread from skin on skin contact. Obviously a condom doesn't cover the entire shaft. This is also true with aids. Condoms don't necessarily protect against that either.

Ya sorry bro herpes can be via skin to skin contact. It all depends where the viral shedding occurs. In the case of herpes, generally your blisters will occur around the base of the shaft and progress from blisters to open ulcers. Those open ulcers contain hight viral loads and thus direct skin to skin contact with that infected area could cause transfer of infection. Of course your skin needs to be broken in some sense, an easy way is if you have shaved your junk in the past day or two, your skin would be riddled with micro abrasions.

Also OP the first outbreak you have is always the worst. As you get older your immune system will better handle outbreaks, and you will be less likely to observe any symptoms. Its important to know that you can shed the virus in your groin even when you arent having an outbreak "visually". So wrap ya dick up when you are with someone new, consider getting antivirals to take daily (these will keep your titres down), and just tell any new partner what you have ahead of time.

Just barely getting over all my symptoms of Chlamydia brah.. its been almost 3 weeks since i took my antibiotics for it... Never going raw again.
